Been coming here for 11 years so I must enjoy the food. Not the best Chinese food i have ever tasted but pretty good for a suburban restaurant. Have ate there at the restaurant and the service is quick the guy who runs it is very friendly and helpful. plenty of choice lots of dishes to choose from.

As a self proclaimed Chinese food expert, I have to say that this place is fantastic. If you happen to be dining in you will enjoy the pleasant authenticity of the place.I highly recommend dining in, this will allow you to soak up an embrace the full cultural Chinese experience. Service is normally first class, of course I have expressed my displeasure a few times, to which Happy the owner resolved swiftly.

My favorite dish is the sweet and sour pork, this dish oozes flavor and flourishes from the chefs home province of Hunan. I strongly believe that this place sits within the top 30 Chinese restaurants within Sydney and comfortably top 3 on the upper north shore.

Takeaway. Excellent range of options. We had duck and plum sauce, satay chicken and garlic prawns. All fabulous. Quick too.

This is a typical old-fashioned family-owned suburban Chinese restaurant. They only have some 7 or 8 tables, so it's a good idea to book. The service is friendly and the food is great. They do takeaway too. Street parking is available, and there is also a carpark behind the cluster of shops. Recommended.

This is the first time I ordered from Happyland and it lives upto its name as I was extremely happy. Food was great, I ordered a large special fried rice, stir fried vegetables, Mongolian lamb, sweet and sour pork and the billykee chicken. Food was fresh and delicious and price is very reasonable.

Fantastic local restaurant. Always a succulent Chinese meal, friendly service and reasonable prices. Generally quite busy most nights of the week packed with locals adds to the dining atmosphere. Probably the only good traditional family run Chinese left on the upper north shore these days too.

I have tried many Chinese food in different restaurant. The food in this one is so nice that many local people like to go there regularly. Even the better thing is my friend is allergic to MSG, she won't go other restaurants, but after she tried a couple of times for take away food in Happyland, she was fine and now she loves the food. I really recommend thisChinese restaurant. And yet, good value.

This place is what Chinese food used to be famous for in the 80s in Sydney. Cantonese-style dishes with high quality ingredients. Prawn chips for the kids, fortune cookies for dessert and classic dishes done the way they should be, without the excessive oil, which make you come back wanting more. A family favourite.

I love this little Asian restaurant. Friendly staff. Consistently great food. Great service. I have had many sit down and takeout meals here. I will drive 30 mins to satisfy cravings for their Shanghai Beef. I have never had a bad meal here and I am fussy.

VERY good, tasty food. Reasonable prices. Excellent service - they even opened the kitchen early just for me. Try the Malaysian curry. Decor is nothing to write home about.
