Lakeside Restaurant

We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday but said nothing to them which didn't seem ro matter as it was a perfect dinner anyway.

Food was well presented reasonably priced and quality was best Ive had in a while. This truly is deceiving, a real hidden gem.

Atmosphere was good with a nice open view of regatta water course.

Staff were excellent. Attentive, confident and polite. I was pleased to see them ask me if i required another drink when finished as most places lately leave me dying of thirst but here was perfect in their balanced service.

Overall I would recommend dinner here if you want good food in a quiet setting with good service and reasonable pricing

I had dinner here recently and was so impressed.

We ordered:

- Seared Scallops
- King Prawns wrapped in Prosciutto
- Fish of the Day - Asian Salmon
- Eye Fillet Steak & King Prawn
- Crepes
- Lemon & Pistachio Ricotta Cake
- Prosecco

The food was incredible! The seafood and steak were all cooked perfectly and the flavours all worked well together.
It's hard to choose a favourite dish but I think if I had to pick it would be the scallops, I loved the salami crumble on top, followed closely by the steak 🤤

Owner Vince was so welcoming and there was live music which created a lovely atmosphere.

This was my first time here but it certainly won't be my last!!

I have organised many events over the years but our birthday party for 30 guests at Lakeside was the smoothest and accommodating Restaurant I have worked with.

The food was delivered in a very timely manner and we have universal positive feedback about the quality and taste of the meals. The serving portions were very generous and there were no weak notes with the food.

Great service on the night and the pricing would bring a smile to an accountant’s face. We have no hesitation in recommending Lakeside for a romantic dinner or function.

We had a Valentine’s dinner (a night early!) and our expectations were vastly exceeded. Firstly, there’s enough bruschetta in a single serving to feed a small army. Secondly, since my lady has allergies to gluten, garlic, and onion (or the whole allium family really), this can make dining either boring or potentially explosive. However, the staff were beyond fantastic, customizing the duck so it was both delicious and non-fatal.

I had a steak in a peppercorn sauce so good the cow would have been pleased it had given its life for such a noble cause. These guys know how to treat their meat, which on Valentine’s celebrations, is of critical importance.

The staff were attentive and helpful at all times and the meal was very reasonably priced for the quality and service. Just take note, if you get a taxi, that the gates lock in the evening, as this caused a bit of a headache trying to get back home! Not the venue’s fault, but something to be careful of.

From location, good parking, lovely setting, venue, beautiful food and then the service was the icing on the cake!! Nothing was too much trouble for Vince, Renee or any of their team on the day.

I honestly cannot recommend Vince and the Lakeside Restaurant enough! Due to COVID19, my husband and I weren't sure if we were going to be able have our wedding, but Vince and the team at Lakeside worked with us to make everything perfect and COVID safe for our special day!

From day one Vince was there helping us work out the details and which wedding package option would be best for us. His prices are very reasonable with so many inclusions such as drinks package, free menu tasting, decorations and even the wedding cake! Vince really knows his stuff and has connections to some great vendors which he has worked with for 10+ years.

Not only did the restaurant have their own COVID safe plan, but they worked with us and our vendors in the planning and on the night to make sure we were COVID safe but still having a wonderful time. Service was great and the food was spectacular. Such a variety of menu options and all of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten!

Situated right on the lake, the restaurant is the perfect place with the best views. Our wedding was everything we could have ever asked for. Weather you are engaged or looking to host a special event- the Lakeside Restaurant is the place for you!

Had a Valentines Day lunch there with my wife. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Honestly amazing service food is 5 star quality I highly recommend this for people that want to go get something beautiful to eat or even a wedding

We visited for lunch. Great food; the grilled Barramundi was top quality, fresh and tasty.
We are in The Entrance for one week & this is already our second visit to this restaurant.

Dinner for 4 was amazing. Fine dinning without the airs n graces. Ordered a variety of dishes including seafood and all was on point. Meals were large and delicious. Owner/maître made the night! I wish I had taken photos but we devoured it before we thought about it

Vince was an incredible host on what was the second day of Covid-19 easing.

My DW ordered the scampi and I had the black angel hair seafood pasta.

The taste transported me back 20years to a sunsetvdinner overlooking the Mediterranean in a small town along the Algerian Coast. Wonderful memories.

We finished with coffee and liqueur. Mine was a double espresso and a lemoncello

This has almost instantaneously become my favourite restaurant in Sydney. Do yourself a favour and get here.you won't be disappointed

Hidden Gem of Penrith! Amazing food which surpasses most of the well known fine dining restaurants in Sydney.

Had a wonderful lunch here, food was delicious and generous. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

We were recently invited to attend a good friend’s birthday celebration ending in a zero. This was fourth time that we had visited the Lakeside Restaurant over several years. The commitment to friendliness, ambience and good food augmented with professionalism, is skillfully played by Vince and his staff who deliver one of the finest lunch and dining experiences. There is no doubt that this establishment is mindful of service making one feel that you are dining as a guest and a friend. Once again, we will be travelling from Dural to the Lakeside Restaurant this Sunday for another exhilarating lunch experience.

The coffee with almond milk was good.
It's good for all people who come to Dragon boat or for a walk that finally there's a restaurant working there.
The queue was long, but they surved within a reasonable time:-)!

We held our wedding reception here prior to current lockdown 2021. As always Vince and his team excelled. Menu choices were great and food excellent. Guests commented how they enjoy. All were made to feel important. It was a location. Thoroughly recommend Lakeside. Thanks Vince for your hospitality you have a wonderful team.

Well I wasn't disappointed!
Booked a table for 9.
Great nicely presented food with a beautiful mix of flavours.
Service was excellent.
A bit loud as there were not a lot if diners but the atmosphere was exciting.
The view during the day would be beautiful- night is tranquil.
Their Thursday special of 3 Courses for $55 is a bargain.
Definitely will be dining again soon.
