Beautiful national park, lots of walking trails of varying degrees of difficulty. Plenty of waterfalls to discover, along with swimming spots. Dramatic mountainous scenery. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful powerful park. The GPS lead me to a seemingly random trail head. Though it seemed a little confusing the trail did not disappoint. Go with a bit of time to explore and find the trail head that speaks to you! Large trail, some signs. Private and beautiful. We found a river

Great spot. Definitely worth a visit. We walked down to ''Hell's Hole'' waterfalls. It was a lovely experience, 45 min stroll one way - nothing too onerous and at the end of it we were rewarded with a beautiful spot with great views... Strange name for such a beautiful place.... Not sure of the history or motivation for the name. Puzzling!

Tranquility of sub tropical rainforest with a splash of water.
Ideal for a hike, cooling off or artistic inspiration.

Good tracks, big nature, long distances ( good to have a car or a friend with a car )

Some terrific scenery and quiet, tranquil walks. The drive to get there is a bit more rough than anticipated - bumpy dirt roads - but we managed.

Some amazing scenery, arguably up there with the Gondwana Rainforests. This park has no formal walking tracks or facilities. Reception is limited. Best to investigate attractions on Bushwalking websites.

Wide trails, not signposted well so you need an online map. All regrowth from old logging areas but good views and appropriately rainforest like

Short little drive out of Uki to Unicorn Falls. Refreshing swim in the waterfall

Most amazing natural rainforest in Australia. A spiritual, scared place.

The family decided to go for a walk in Mount Jerusalem National Park. I googled the place and “Hell Hole Falls” popped up. Getting there proved to be a “fun” trip. Be aware phone reception is a bit dodgy the further into the park you go and there are no public facilities.
There are no markers indicating which way to go so hopefully your phone provider’s signal is strong enough to enable you to follow google maps.
Out of Uki, we went along Rowlands Creek Road and turned left into Manns Road. Once you enter the Park proper the road surface becomes unsealed with some ruts and potholes. We were in a 2WD sedan so I just took it easy. A 4x4 would be more suitable.
You eventually come across a T junction with Middle Ridge Road. Take a right onto Middle Ridge Road and keep going until you come to a fork with gates on both trails.
The trail to take is through the right hand gate. There is parking space available with a warning of “not to park in front of the gates”.
It’s a lovely downhill, easy walk from there along a well worn, wide dirt road with very tall trees either side, A fire has swept through the area not too long ago. The regrowth has been great. Do take decent walking shoes. It just makes the walk easier.
A few k’s down the road there will be an unmarked acute fork to the left, take that turn and keep going for another few k’s. It steepens down and you will get to the rainforest covering at the bottom. There’s a creek to cross near the bottom over a bridge which has two large holes in it so keep to the left. After that, turn sharp right and follow the creek all the down to the head of the Falls. Along the way, you boulder-hop under the cover of the canopy above. There was very little water in the creek and I assume that after good rains it must certainly fill up.
There is a swimmable pool at the end before the water tumbles over the edge. The views of the range are magnificent. It is a welcome relief after the long walk down.
Make sure you’ve got your strength back because it’s uphill all the way to the car park. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Just make sure you leave yourself with enough daylight to get back to the car.

The Rock pools where cool. We had the whole park to ourselves. Would of been awesome if the water was flowing but still good.

Pretty sure I glimpsed a Unicorn in the mist of the lil waterfall out of the corner of my eye, as they say you do.🌈🦄

Just riding through. A large tree had fallen recently but it had been cut so the road was open.
