Ideal spots for birdwatching including a Kingfisher diving but You need to come early before more people come.

Came here for a wedding. The scenery was amazing, with great bushland and water views for photos. There was lots of space to chat, with undercover seating area.

Great place for a picnic and some lawn games. Beautiful scenery all around and along the river. You can hear the birds and the breeze, which is very serene. Plenty of spots to occupy, even when it gets busy. Toilets were clean and had loo paper, but you'll need your own soap. Lots of picnic tables under a shelter, as well as a couple other picnic tables nearer the water. I'd recommend bringing your own as it's lovely sitting under the trees and it'll probably be more comfortable.

We often go there to make breakfast. A small table, chairs, a gas stove and some groceries is all that is necessary for a great meal. With as much shade or sunlight as you prefer. It is a great place to go to.

Peaceful picnic area with great view of river. The birdlife is very diverse with very cheeky cockatoos and active kookaburras. The covered picnic tables are excellent.

Beautiful setting by the river/creek beyond Audley Weir. Abundant bird life and a wonderful spot for a picnic, particularly if you are into birds.

Always love having a picnic down here. Very serene and peaceful and a good way to get away from your phone because there's no reception.

Great place to just relax with family or friends. Big space with lots of shades. There might be a bathroom somewhere around.
