Edgewater Quarry Park

This is a great place to walk your dog off lead. It's pretty much closed on all sides, so it feels safe that the dogs won't run into the road. One downside is a lot of people don't bother picking up after their dogs, so there's quite a bit of poop around, even though there is a bin and poo bags provided!

I love this space because it is 'free' space. Dogs can run around and chase a ball, kids can fly a kite or test out their remote control cars. In this over-regulated world we need more spaces like this.

This is a great spot and surprisingly quite unknown to many. It’s not so obvious as your driving past on Joondalup drive. If you have dogs it is worth a visit. It’s safe and spacious, with so much grass to run around on. With the built up areas due to it being an old quarry, you can rest easy that your dog can’t run off too far.

Love the place. Hope it never gets developed into apartments.
Would love to see it used as a Sunday markets, dog park, or car show/festival grounds. But not more high rise. Perth has enough generic suburbs, let's retain some soul to our neighbourhoods.
