Daryl's Gourmet Meats

I'm not a massive meat eater and believe in quality over quantity. Darryl's is a friendly local butcher that has now officially made me stop buying supermarket meat! I'd rather pay a few extra dollars and support a small local business, and get GREAT tasting meat, without any preservatives and extra water added. The free-range chicken thighs have so much flavour and you can really taste the difference between supermarket meat and Darryl's meat. The in-house made sausages are delicious and the free range pork mince is awesome as well.

This year, I decided to glaze a ham for the first time, which is a pretty daunting thing for a first timer.

I did my research and saw glowing reviews for Daryl's, which is actually not far from where I live, so decided to go there for some advice.

The service I received from the monent I walked in was just incredible. I had the loveliest man (unfortunately I didn't get their name) take me through my options, and explain what would be best for my situation. He even gave me a sample of ham - delicious! I pre ordered my Xmas ham on the spot. I noticed that all of the people who were in the store knew the staff by name and were clearly regular customers, which was a great sign.

When I came to collect, I was served by the same person who was just as lovely as the first time, and the cost was much less than I had expected.

Today, I glazed the ham, which turned out PERFECTLY. Absolutely delicious, high quality produce.

I now know where I will be going to (and recommending) in the future.

This is the best butcher store in the Eastern suburbs. The meat is always good quality and fresh, the service is fantastic (I think it is family run) and although it is a bit dearer than other places, it is worth it for the quality and the service and the convenience. Paper bags cost extra which is fair, make sure you take your own reusable bag.

The best chicken schnitzels in the eastern suburbs hands down. Great value too!

Excellent local family owned and operated butcher. Meat is of a consistently high standard (Aussie made and grass fed!) and priced very reasonably. Consistent friendly and helpful service. These guys work hard and care about their product and it shows. Check out the yummy homemade meat pies - but be quick as they go real fast.

Daryl and Anne are great, the produce is top notch and they are always happy to advise and help.
Their sausages and rissoles are really good and they have a great range of condiments for everything.
We love the frozen spaghetti bog as a standby with pasta or in a taco.
Also stocks the best dog bones in the east !

Such a good vibe... vegetarian sandwiches here are just outstanding! The cook definitely knows what to do and how to do it. It’s hard to impress me but u did😭😭😭

A great bucher! Their meats are organic / free range and so tasty. Here you can also find some not so common free range liver and game meat. I also get my eggs from them, they are from Chantelair Farms - great tasting and nutritious omega 3 eggs.

Best butcher in Sydney. Great quality and welfare meat, in a down to earth shop. And when you buy one of their home smoked hams, you get a FREE ham-bag!

Brilliant, kind, about half of the beef and chicken is halal, and finally quality grass-fed beef and pasture raised chicken. Just incredible.
