Really nice local vibe at this cafe on the corner of Mona Vale Rd and Forestway.
Great breakfasts and good coffee too.
I had the wood fired skillet omelette and it was terrific- not cheap but good quality and friendly service from the young crew of servers.

Amazing place. Can to have lunch with family and brought my child. The play space is great and the food was devine. Price on the higher side but the service and venue make up for it. Dog friendly.

The best place to dine for nutritious meals cooked with passion & the freshest produce from the adjoining Market. The staff are always accommodating to dietary requirements & I feel "at home" here as a solo diner. Adam you are a pastry genuis, I always leave with a dessert (namely the ricotta torte!).
Also special shout out to Tony who goes above & beyond for all customers..all staff here deserve praise !

The TASTING DECK at Forestway Fresh recently visited with some family members as we met here as we all came from different directions ~ It was an ideal spot to grab a very nice meal and have a chat before we continued our journey.
Despite the temps being another scorcher of a day, it was quite pleasant eating out 'on the deck' as it felt in a very comfortable setting. I like my chicken wraps and I must say the Grilled Chicken Wrap is the best, yet I've ever had including salad. Menu is varied and prices very reasonable. Looking forward to another visit along with a shop of fruit and veg.

A lovely new cafe restaurant at the newly renovated Forestway Fresh store, where not only can you buy your fruit & veg, but a huge selection of cheeses, meats & imported European goodies. Before or after your shop, stop by the stylish, modern cafe for a delicious breakfast or brunch of ricotta hotcakes that's like a hotcake/muffin/cake all in one. Or maybe the perfectly poached eggs with asparagus & hallandaise. Or maybe lunch on the salmon with polenta or grilled halloumi or a delicious woodfired burger straight from the impressive woodfire oven. There is also a selection of ready made salads to have in the cafe or to take home as well as ready made meals and of course a selection of sweets like brownies, cakes, cannoli and more that are perfect with a great coffee. Quality is key here and there is plenty that will please adults and children, who will love the milkshakes, babycino or thick oozy cheese toasties. The staff are super friendly here, especially the boss Pascuale who is gentle, warm, with a smile that is so genuinely welcoming. A large playground for the kids means this cafe is catered for adults & kids equally and everyone can enjoy and relax in such an environment. Great to see such a little gem on the upper north shore.

The Tasting Deck boasts a fresh, modern menu that reflects the gourment produce of the adjoining supermarket, Forestway Fresh.
The menu isn't cheap but the food and presentation is creative.
There is both indoor and outdoor seating is available. The outdoor option is great for families as it opens on to a playground. The playground is good for ages 4 and up but littlies would definitely enjoy playing on the surrounding terf and grass. You can watch your kids from the deck and you should. Although it is mostly fenced they can escape at the side into the carpark.

Good space for outdoor dining with heater around to keep warm. The hot chocolate has nice flavour, and the desserts were both yummy. Happy to come back in the future.

Two of us had lunch here today, a busy Sunday on a long weekend. The staff were very busy and our young - and very pleasant - waiter told us they normally have 12 staff but were down to 7 today. Despite being so busy, the two staff members who served us were super-efficient and really lovely and our meals arrived very quickly. My vegan wrap was delicious - the best I've ever had.

Seating inside, near the children's play equipment, or to one side with your dog. Very well set up areas! Gorgeous little desserts if you're willing to pay the price.

Awesome food and staff. From manager Christof keeping the cafe working seamlessly and cheerfully to Brenda the overseer of logistics, helping people with their purchases to the car and removing obstacles for customers, the place is a vibrant happy community.

The kids love to go for lunch and play while we have something to eat.

It’s great because you can watch the kids and relax with a drink because they’re licensed to serve alcohol.

Plus if you need some groceries you can get them on the way out the door.

Prefect way to kill a couple of hours and tick all the boxes.

The BEST place for fine food. The deli area is top class. Fresh food veggies all beautifully presented. Dining there is absolute delight and the staff are friendly and obliging. You may pay slightly more for some items but you get what you pay for. Excellent place
