Motel Grande

We booked a room last minute for myself, husband, and two kids (3 & 1) and was happy to find this place was centrally located, super clean & tidy & the rooms were fabulous for what we paid.

Julz left easy to understand instructions to obtain our key as we were arriving later in the evening & was very accomodating with leaving extra milk for us as we like our teas / coffees in the morning.

The showers had great pressure and was instantly hot. The mini bar had a few lovely snacks & drinks (which my toddler loved)

There’s a lovely little pool and BBQ area which we didn’t get to use but when we come back (which we will!) and it’s a little warmer - we’ll be taking advantage of those facilities.

Even though we had a room at the front of the complex / facing the road - we didn’t hear much at all and still slept like logs without any noticeable traffic noise.

If you’re looking for well priced, tidy, accomodating & centrally located accomodation in Tamworth - Motel Grande is it.

This place is an awesome little find!
Loads of parking, immaculate rooms, showers have incredible pressure and there’s even a little common area with a gas BBQ. The owner Sam is a super friendly guy who is lovely to chat to. We will definitely stay again. Bargain!

Excellent motel. I stayed here recently for emergency travel with my young daughter. The patron was accommodating and friendly and at very short notice, arranged for our room key to be accessed after hours via a lock box.
Our room was very clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were well thought out. Also, the shower was instantly hot and there was amazing water pressure. The traffic noise was minimal and there was good sound insulation between adjacent rooms.
The motel is conveniently within walking distance to clubs and a supermarket. Thank you for hosting us at short notice, we will return (hopefully for a planned visit next time).

Came up for a local tournament for a few days and just needed a bed really.

Comfortable bed, room with a table and a desk to work on.

Bathroom was good, shower spacious and hot water was almost instant - exactly what I needed because it's winter and I don't want to be standing there waiting 😂

Despite being on the main road, it was quiet.
Also, everything is so close - grocery shops, shopping, cafes..

Honestly, this was perfect. The money price of this is on the low - mid end of the ones around here, and I'm glad I spent the extra money here and didnt skimp.
A friend of mine stayed at one of the cheaper ones down the road and it was a horror story (I was considering going there, glad I didn't 😁).

Dave (owner) is a wonderful person. He gave me a call to see when I'd arrive. Due to circumstances, I wasn't due to be there until late in the evening.
He gave me clear and easy instructions on where to get my key and gave me the warmest safe travel wishes. Friendly and welcoming.

Excellent motel. I stay here regularly for business related travel. Have stayed in many similar type motels around Australia.
This place is great value with friendly service.
The rooms are immaculately clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Microwaves and toaster to heat up food is a nice convenience. Showers have great water pressure.
Gym access a great convenience. Close-by to Bowls Club, Golf Club.

Good motel shower head needed fixing in my room, did last time I stayed there. But at least they didn't up the price cause of the tamworth festival.

Loved this little 1 bedroom unit.Very clean and tidy,easily accessible, great little set-up,would definitely stay here again. Customer service was great, even rang to see if we needed anything done in the room after day 1.Perfect for 2 adults in main bedroom then another adult in lounge area on single bed plus there is a sofa bed for 3 small kids.Very secure and in a quite location.Has all kitchen cutlery cups and bowls,just can't cook in here.So glad we found this little gem.

Very clean and comfortable room. The shower pressure was fantastic and David is a very welcoming and friendly guy. The large coffee mugs for my morning hit were a pleasant find.
I like quiet, a comfy space and a gym when I travel and Motel Grande provided these and more.
I didn’t take advantage of the pool or complimentary breakfast but definitely will next time I stay.

This motel is one of the best places I have had the pleasure of staying overnight. The rooms are spacious, the beds so comfodtable but the best thing is the rooms are so clean. My rooms over 2 nights were so quiet and overall I felt very well appointed. David the Manager is attentive, caring and friendly.

Guy at checkin was great, nice chat on welcome helped me out and was picky in room selection to accommodate my sleeping with working nightshift, rooms were lovely and clean. Comfortable bed very modern. Definitely recommend

Stayed two nights (Sunday, Monday) in July, quite nice, rooms were nice and warm, bed and pillows just soft enough so nice nights sleep. Room was good size, table and chair for eating, microwave and fridge. Shower and toilet clean, well stocked and good hot water. Nice location, good road and access to all of Tamworth. Management was great, contact before arrival and at reception, easy check-in and departure. Great value rooms in Tamworth.

The rooms were very clean and tidy. Close to everything we needed. Very Welcoming Friendly Helpful staff. Great showers. Free Wifi and Netflix kept the kids happy. Highly Recommend will definitely stay here again on our travels. Just make sure you keep your belongings strapped to you or they will be stolen in 5 mins.

So far it has been a great experience. A clean room, a comfortable bed, large TV with access to Netflix, and an air-conditioning unit that works exceptionally. What more do you need!?

I recently stayed at Motel Grande Tamworth for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Cool little motel, awesomely revamped recently by the looks. Great rooms, well detailed and appointed, new fittings, beds, amenities throughout, at great value. Didn't get to enjoy the pool as was only passing thru but I love the old 1970s "Arizona" and "Adobe" style architecture.

I have stayed at Motel Grande twice to attend Legacy of Legends/ Buck Brannaman clinics at AELEC in Tamworth. I cannot fault the quality of the room and the service. I chose this motel because it was self contained (microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge) which met my requirements. I always ask for a room away from the road and the owners have provided this on both occasions. The offer of food (breakfast) is a fantastic option too. Lovely, helpful staff and clean facilities at a competitive price. I recommend Motel Grande. Easy to find and to enter/leave the premises. Thanks Motel Grande. Keep up the fantastic service. Beck. SA.
