An absolute delight of a hidden gem venue

We’ve been coming to Mt Beauty for almost 30 years and this place is usually closed but we persevered because so many of our local friends love it

Today, we lucked on and found Daniel by himself

An easy going, super talented chef, he was run off his feet by a sudden influx of people but managed with aplomb

The standouts: coffee liqueur is literally liquid ambrosia. I kid you not, it’s a 10/10.

The wines are universally excellent, even the lower price point ones.

There’s so many remarkable parts of the Annapurna experience that it’s hard to define them all - another exceptional aspect to the meals were the house fermented cabbage and locally sourced salad ingredients. The whole menu was well thought out, eloquently prepared and consistently of good quality

You really need to try Annapurna.

Thanks Daniel for serving us our best lunch in a very long time. Food and wine were amazing and the service was even better. The polenta chips, duck pie, and apple strudel were all first class. And the wines put commercial stuff in there their place, way behind. Better value. Much better quality.

What a hidden gem! Our group of four had the most lovely experience for lunch, with delicious food and generous servings. The conviviality of the hosts, Daniel and his father, was an unexpected delight. This is a place where the pride they take in their food is truly on show. Thank you for a really special afternoon.

We were 10 of us and vegetarian. Chef was all by himself but he made us delicious vegetarian pizzas . All vegetables were grown in his vineyard . By the time he prepared the food we had a great time in the vineyard and then had food . The pizzas were extremely tasty . Would love to come here again .

Annapurna Estate was one of those hidden surprises! A lovely family run restaurant with rich history and good old fashioned hospitality. Daniel is an awesome chef and welcoming host! I went there for my birthday and he went above and beyond in giving us exemplary service and attention. The food was amazing! All of it was a gastronomic culinary delight and was carefully paired with matching wine. Thank you for making my day super special! I definitely recommend checking it out! 👌 Grazie mille! Xxx

What a great meal ,there was 12 of us not one complaint we all enjoyed our meals ,the chef Daniel is so friendly and his beautiful boys did a great job.

Truly unforgettable experience from Ezio and Daniel, from the get-go it felt like we had known them for years, sharing stories and hanging out together. Their old school Italian hospitality was really one of a kind and something you don't get to experience too often these days. Daniel shared some of his cooking wizardry with us and showed us his pantry full of secret recipes and concoctions. The wine was spectacular as well. Not a bad word to say about the day! Make sure to get a pat of Drusheck the Borzoi too if you can.

On the first day we went there for a wine tasting, we sat by the fire as it was freezing. Etzio (the very personable owner) was chatting with us, and after seeing some of the food come out, we decided to come back the next day for lunch.
In true Victorian style, the weather was wonderful the next day. We sat out on the terrace, looking out over the beautiful garden. The food was delicious and the wine was lovely. I really recommend this winery - but you need to book as it gets very busy.

Annapurna Estate is definitely worth a visit. Daniel, the chef, prepares delicious food using fresh, local ingredients and his dad, Ezio, produces delightful wines and liquors in a picturesque setting. They are both very personable and passionate about the things they produce and the service is first rate. A great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch.

We had a wonderful afternoon - super friendly hosts. Food and wine were exceptional. Generous servings and very fresh ingredients. Delicious! We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return - Cheers!

What a beautiful place to have lunch.

The wine was perfect and don't leave without trying the liqueurs.

But lunch is a whole other thing. Everything is made on premises and was absolutely fantastic . Homemade food that you can taste it was made from the heart. Prices were the same as any boring pub meal and the sizings are plentiful. We didn't need dessert but they sounded so good we had to try them as well and boy are we glad we did.

We walked away very full and only needed a light dinner that evening. We can't wait to go back for the spring menu.

This is an amazing gem in Mt Beauty. They source local products. They cater for weddings and events nothing is too much trouble. They catered my cousin's wedding it was perfect. The vineyard is beautiful and a very special place. You won't be disappointed.

An absolute gem! The wine and food is excellent. We had a great lunch last Sunday and were able to take our dogs with us. We will be back. 👍

Absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, lamb shanks and a chicken pot pie on a cold winter day with the chefs choice of wine that was a perfect pair. Would have gladly paid double.

They like to do things a bit differently with everything on the menu homemade. Some simple and some complex flavours and staff who really care, this was the perfect afternoon, wish I could rate it 6 stars.

A must for lunch. Owner a wonderful host only bettered by the food which was unsurpassed. Chardonnay 10/10 and book first as they can get quite busy. Short staffed so anyone wanting a great role in hospitality , just front and ask for the owner
