Bright Motor Inn

Amazing place to stay. Its located so close to everything we didn't need our car. The room was great size and very clean and very quite. The hosts were so lovely and made our stay easy and fun. They have mini golf located at the motel it kept the kids and adults amused for hours. They even have glow in the dark balls. We can't wait to return.

After a long road trip and running the Spartan, it was great to check in to a friendly and accommodating reception, drive my car to my door and have a clean and tidy, homey room with a view.

Lindsay was such a great host.

It was great to see so many happy people socialising around the area.

They had mini golf, a rotisserie going (I believe they do dinner for guests, or something).

The surrounding mountains were nice.

The dryer was loud AF and not sure it was working properly or someone interrupted the cycle, but other than that, the amenities were great.

I just really appreciated Lindsay's friendly and accommodating demeanour. A simple thing but made a massive difference. I don't usually care to write reviews but I wanted to make sure this service was acknowledged and to support this business.

We had a terrific time here! Great location directly across from the riverside park area, literally minutes walk to main area of town.

Hosts were amazing, and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Rooms were clean and well maintained, and extremely kid friendly (glow in the dark mini gold was a big hit!). Has outdoor kitchen facilities which is a plus.

We’re already planning to come back! Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area or just wanting to get away to somewhere nice!

Stayed at the Motor Inn for a weekend. Rooms were so clean, comfortable, quiet, and cool on a 36 + degree day.

Location was perfect for heading to the river, and brewery which were just across the road. The rest of the town was very walkable from the motel as well, which was great to be able to enjoy some drinks and not have to worry about driving.

Loved that the motel had BBQ’s and tables under the trees for use, perfect for a family cook up.

Also enjoyed playing on the mini golf course, great place to challenge some mates, and enjoy some laughs.

Hosts were very friendly, and happy to give advice on what was happening in and around town, and places to eat etc.

Great stay and look forward to going back.

The location of this Motel could not be more perfect. Situated within walking distance to everything, but most importantly the river which is the best place for kids, families and friends to hangout and play 😍
The rooms were very clean & comfortable and the hosts couldn’t be more accommodating.
They also have the best mini golf course with glow in the dark balls. If you have kids this is the best!

Nice, clean room, very friendly staff. Great for motorcycle riders! Very close to the main street and shops. Definitely a good and affordable location.

Great service and with the great amenities. A plus for EV vehicles with the Tesla home chargers (type 2 , 32amp ) to accommodate for our Tesla.

A great place to stay, walking distance to town. Comfortable beds, great sized shower with awesome pressure. Staff are very friendly. Would comfortably stay there again.

Stayed there a couple of weekends ago with my son. First time to Bright and not only is the town beautiful, but the Motor Inn is a great location to stay. The rooms are really comfortable, and Nick and Suzie go out of their way to help however they can. Will recommend without doubt whenever I can.

Great, affordable place to stay. Rooms are very clean. Towels, some soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided. Great place to stay if you're a motorcyclist or a skier. The managers are awesome to deal with. There is also a parking spot outside every room.

Stayed I’ve Australia Day long weekend, location is central and perfect for cafes and restaurants, river walks etc. Super friendly management! Rooms were clean and all the usual features you expect. Bright is such a lovely town at the foot of the Victorian Alps.

Susie the manager is one of a kind. Great quick service and very friendly. The Inn is only footsteps away from some lovely restaurants, we tried Tomahawk on Susies recommendation and it was amazing. Will definitely stay here again. By the way, if you ride a motorcycle, this is where you need to be. The managers ride and know all the best local roads

A group of us stayed at the BMI recently for two nights. I was in contact with Susie and Nick leading up to our stay as our numbers were changing, it was never too much trouble for them to keep changing our room numbers and were more than happy to help! Then when we got there (early and let us check in) they were just so helpful on local knowledge and where to go. We will be definitely be staying there next year!

twowheeltours had a road cycling camp in Bright for four days. BMI was the perfect location to base ourselves. Close to the village for lunches and dinners, amazing helpful staff and comfortable rooms. We will be back. Many thanks.
