Sandy Creek Clydesdales

Truly the most amazing experience!! Wonderfully warm and welcoming people and the horses, well, incredible, gentle giants! Do yourself a favour and just go! I cannot recommend Sandy Creek Clydesdales enough! Thank you for the memories guys, you are utterly fantastic!!

We had a fabulous morning at Sandy Creek Clydesdales trying out a harness lesson. They are so well organised, welcoming and passionate about sharing knowledge, skills and their beautiful horses. Matt was so kind and patient, as were Noah, Honey and Peach. Highly recommended a visit.

What a great day. Maldon Vintage Machinery and Museum had a great stall with cuppas and a small goods stall. I took the opportunity and touched the Lexus Melbourne Cup.

Highly recommend! We hired a horse and carriage for our wedding last November and couldn't have been happier. Such wonderful people to deal with and stunning horses. Regardless of the horrid weather we had they made the day truly special. And we are still getting comments from our guests about how beautiful the horses were. Thanks again Jaimie and Matt!

We really enjoyed our visit!
The hosts looked after us very well. We experienced the harnessing of the heavy horses, hooking up the wagon, we then toured the farm in the wagon, our grandchildren even had a supervised hold of the reins.
After meeting all the other farm animals, we had a lovely picnic lunch. 10/10

We visited Sandy creek for their Christmas open day and had a wonderful time. It is a dream of mine to one day own a sandy creek Clydesdale of my own and learn more about showing and working with these magnificent creatures

I can't recommend Sandy Creek Clydesdale's enough. Their professionalism and knowledge to help educate people about this beautiful breed of horse. Their willingness to offer so many hands on experiences for people to learn from . I try to visit as often as I can because each time there is always something new. Especially the babies. Young and Old will enjoy their time visiting Sandy Creek.

I’ve just begun to have harness driving lessons and I love it! It’s my fortnightly gift to myself and makes me smile so, so much. The Clydesdales are quiet, kind and put up with beginner me with lots of patience. Matt is a wonderful teacher, very patient and happy to explain over and over again, and answers any and all of my many questions. I highly recommend Jaime, Matt and their Clydesdales. Thanks for making me happy.

Sandy Creek Clydesdales has been developing over recent years to become one of our towns favourite. I love see them driving around with visitors. The horses re beautifully groomed and so friendly. The owners are happy to chat about their experiences.

I love seeing all the Clydesdales at sandy creek. As I own a Clydesdale myself, I love that they post daily what they are up to. Such beautiful natures and seem to enjoy their daily tasks. It is awesome to see that they are out and about in the public eye all the time to highlight this very special breed!

I took my husband, children and grandchildren for a day out. What an awesome day we had. The history and information that was provided was very interesting. The children loved the rides. The horses were absolutely mesmerizing. I will be going back again. Great value for money and wonderful country air!

For a lovely old fashioned carriage experience, beautiful custom blacksmithing, a quality bred Clydesdale, some gorgeous show gear, a horse broken to be bomb proof, or simply a laugh and good conversation, look no further than SCC. These guys are all round brilliant, offering experiences and education to boot. They strive to showcase how exceptional the Clydesdale breed is by travelling the country with their horses and exhibiting them in places such as The Melbourne Royal Show Gala and Heavy Horse Festival of SA, whilst staying humble as a small family business. They understand the personal touch and will provide it at every opportunity. I cannot recommend Jaimie and Matt enough when it comes to experiences both in the seat and holding the reins.

My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Sandy Creek Clydesdales. It was a pleasure to learn about this amazing piece of paradise. What a forward thinking, hard working young couple to pull all this together. I admire their vision and enthusiasm for what they have achieved and plan to achieve in the future.
Getting to lead, prepare, drive and groom these magnificent animals was such a wonderful way to spend a morning. The beautiful township of Maldon is so close. A walk around this historic town, followed by some lunch at Le Sel (try their baguettes) finished off the day. Highly recommend!

Thank you for a wonderful day. We had a lovely picnic, the grandkids loved the horse drawn carriage ride and being able to get up and close to the beautiful horses and animals. Staff we’re courteous and helpful with assisting the kids on and off the ride, making sure they were able to sit together.

Wow wow wow I’m lost for words how AMAZING Sandy Creek Clydesdales Adventure was! We run a special needs group and we all had such an amazing time! I highly recommend for anyone to come along as everyone of any age will enjoy this! Thank you again guys you rock!
