Maldon Bakery

Brilliant Bakery in the heart of historic Maldon. I popped in for a bite to eat and was welcomed by the friendly staff. I’m a bit fussy when it comes to sausage rolls and I can honestly say that these are right up there with the best I’ve ever tasted. Now I know that these things are often a matter of taste. For me Maldon Bakery ticks all the boxes. Add the quality food and the lovely ambience of the bakery garden and it’s perfect.

What a fabulous bakery. The owner and all the crew are so friendly and welcoming. Everything is cooked onsite and the breads are excellent. I’ve tried the sourdough and the yeast breads and all have impressed. As did my beef pie and sausage roll. I’m also slightly addicted to their brownies. Well worth a visit and a stock up on excellent bread 🥖

Pies were delicious flaky pastry filled with real chunks of meat. Great meat to gravy ratio. Vanilla slices were amazing freshly made, real creamy thick custard delicious pastry topped with sweet white icing. We drove from Melbourne for this bakery

I had a tasty & fresh chicken walnut sandwich on sourdough, hubby had the pepper steak, nice tender chunks of meat. Beautiful food. Realistically priced for this day and age.

Delicious Pies, pasties and cakes. The chocolate eclairs are just umy. The coffee great too. Lovely garden area for eating outside. Make sure you visit when in lovely Maldon town.

Recently stopped at Maldon Bakery on a day trip. We tried an incredible vanilla slice and doughut filled with homemade raspberry jam, which were both delicious and demolished in the courtyard before we could snap a photo. A loaf of sourdough also came home to Melbourne with us. This charming, historic bakery is a must-visit stop on trips to the Goldfields region!

Sensational pies and the best vanilla slice. Coffee was fantastic as well.One of the best bakeries I have visited. Keep coming back!

Delicious food, we had vegetarian pie 🥧 & sweet pastry with currants, we enjoyed very much 😋 tables in a garden under a large pomegranate tree, highly recommended to visit it.

Omg just tried the bolognese pie, absolutely glorious! A truly unique bakery with really good food, a lovely courtyard and a hole in the wall for take away espresso coffee. Wow,.you've gotta visit Maldon just for this, the longest continual operating Bakery in Australia! Also a very historical town, well worth the trip.

Hard to get a park with a caravan. Toilets are a good walk away

Pie was nice, but the sweet stuff were incredible. Staff were very friendly and happy to talk about the history of the bakery. Will be back.

Amazing bakery! Delicious pies! They had one vegetarian pie w no dairy (an egg wash tho) which was delicious!!!!! And a vegan brownie that looked great (but I didn't try it). 6.50 for pie with sauce well worth it:)

Great little bakery. We buy a loaves from here, never disappoint and good selection to choose from. They also have range of delicious pies and can never resist the sweet baked goods either. Wonderful authentic produce.
