Cafe Maldon

I went as a group of cyclists for breakfast. They couldn’t have been more welcoming. Excellent food (I recommend the breakfast bagel - swapped bacon for avocado), great coffee, extremely friendly service and GF options. Will definitely be back. Maldon is such a beautiful town.

We were greeted with brightly coloured crocheted lap blankets hanging over the outside chairs that could keep you protected from the freshness of the cool morning air as we stopped for breakfast at the Café Maldon at 52 Main St, Maldon. It was early on a Sunday morning and the place was absolutely jumping. I ordered an Egg and Bacon roll, which is one of the best I have ever had. You know the type, dry and hot crispy bacon, with slightly runny egg. The roll and contents were hot which is exactly what I wanted on a coolish morning. The coffee I ordered to take away was hot too. If you are stopping at Maldon, or just passing through, I can certainly recommend a meal or coffee here. Well-done team!!

Called in here with two companions during what appeared to be a very busy lunch time.Was greeted and immediately handed menus and instructed to order our meals via the counter by a friendly staff member.I ordered the veggie quiche and my companions both ordered the all day breakfast which consisted of a hash brown,sautéed mushrooms,tomatoes,capsicums on sourdough toast.A little pot of baked beans was added on the side,a thoughtful idea.The.meals were cooked to perfection,not a hint of greasiness.Excellent coffee ended the meal,could not be happier.I hope the proprietor appreciates what a talented and proffessional staff they have in the kitchen and out on the floor.Will look forward to visiting again next time we are up from Melbourne.

Fresh food cooked perfectly. Huge range of options catering to all dietary requirements.

We had a lovely lunch here and the staff were absolutely amazing with food intolerances. It was no issue at all to change the menu to make a suitable meal. We will definitely be going back whenever we’re in Maldon.

My favourite cafe in Maldon! The food and coffee is a delight every single time. No matter what time of the year it is the atmosphere inside is very warm and welcoming. A beautiful location in a beautiful town.

Really good coffee and yummy vego options. Take a seat by the window and and get off your phone. It’s a great little town, so full of character.

Stopped in for breakkie and coffee on Easter Sunday. Sat outside as I had my pup with me There is inside and outdoor tables. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered the eggs benny which was delicious and a mug Almond Latte. Price was a bit steep for one person @$37, but it was the Easter weekend, so most likely surcharges. Overall great little Cafe.

Have been there three times, very nice

Excellent coffee and a very generous serving of mushrooms and avocado sides with my scrambled eggs, which was particularly thoughtful as i asked them to hold the toast. Too many places give you a thin slice of avo and a couple of button mushrooms as sides, but not this cafe - I am replete!

4 of us had lunch on Sunday at Cafe Maldon and what beautiful lunches. Well presented and very reasonable prices.
It was busy which is a great sign,but nothing was any problem.
The service was excellent, staff friendly,coffee and hot chocolate perfect.
I have never been disappointed.
