Pullman Reef Hotel Casino

Check-in management/staff were very friendly and made our 3-night stay perfect. Any problems just disappeared. The room was fresh and lucky for us, opulent. BAR36 had the best cocktails (the staff were super friendly). We ate twice at Soy Kitchen (outstanding) and Tamarind Restaurant was as you would expect A+ (compliments to the chef). We didn't dine anywhere else. I found the location not too busy but still just one block from city shops. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Friendly front desk staff. Bedroom was cleaned, looks new, spacious and good view. Felt very comfortable to stay. We are happy guests. Well entertained by the live band on weekends. Breakfast set was good but limited selection. Would love to stay here again.

Everything about our 3 night stay was great. The room was beautifully spacious, the deep bathtub amazing and the bed super comfortable. The parking was convenient and the location for walking to the centre of town and the reef fleet terminal for our day trip was just so easy. Loved the pool and the sauna too! Will definitely be back when in Cairns again.

From the minute we arrived at the hotel to the time we left, we felt looked after. As soon as we got out of the cab, there was someone there who took our bags and directed us where to check in. There were no lines at check in and they were super efficient. We arrived early and they organised to call us as soon as our room was ready and have our bags delivered for us. We stayed 3 days and during that time we ordered room service, attended a conference and needed to get around the hotel and casino. Everything was perfect and we were made to feel really special each time we interacted with a team member. Thank you for an incredible stay.

From the moment I arrived to the follow up after I went home, I received outstanding service.
Some of the aspects of the service I particularly loved were:
-Concierge taking my bag to my room and checking if I had any questions re operating the air con
-Chocolates in the evening
-Text asking if everything was to my satisfaction
-Professionalism and warmth of housekeeping staff
-Reception staff helpfulness and friendliness re my enquiries
-nothing was too much for the staff
-catering team going above and beyond to take care of me (with my head cold)

We were welcomed with sincere approach from the Front Office management, and felt kind welcome at all times by all staff.
The management were helpful and fully dedicated and efficient to meet our needs for comfort at all times. They were also easy to communicate with.
The hours that we have spent at the hotel during our stay have passed in joy, even though it rained most of the time.

The hotel and staff are amazing. Everything was clean and tidy. The elder male concierge really made our stay with how welcoming, friendly and helpful he was. The included breakfast was delicious and we had a great time. I enjoyed the little extras like being able to order a different pillow from a menu. There was also an extensive list of items such as toothbrush, hair straightener, razors, etc that were available on request.

Great experience. The room was big and well layed out. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Hotel has beautiful deck with pool, jacuzzi and ample seating options. Fantastic location close to water and restaurants.

We had a pleasant experience staying for four nights in April. Room (King double) was spacious, airy and clean. The wooden shutters give a colonial atmosphere. Shower cabin and bath tub with jacuzzi, double vanity, separate toilet, all add to the comfort. Our view was to the street but not noisy whatsoever. Nice breakfast and coffee. Location is perfect for exploring the best of Cairns City and waterfront.
Staff is very friendly and does every effort to make you feel welcomed, a smile on everyone’s face. The lady at the Front desk when we checked in and out was Alessia, special thanks as she was a professional and hospitable host. We wouldn’t go further for our next Cairns trip.

I had a great experience at this venue, while here for a conference.
The only small downside is that not all of the team knew where the defibrillators were located or knew how to use them with confidence (or other first aid) While they meet the requirements of a first aider on site, it would be awesome to see the resort provide value to all their team in having everyone trained and confidence in CPR, Defibs and first aid training.

We loved our stay. It was quiet (no kids around!) and in a great location close to everything. We slept well every night
and felt safe The only negative is there is no privacy if you're using the gym- you walk through the gym to go to the pool area and everyone can see you in the gym from the pool! Highly recommend changing this.

From the moment we arrived we we're looked after like we we're VIP's. The staff we're amazing excellent customer service especially seeing it was my 50th birthday I checked into the room and was welcomed with a bottle of champagne, chocolate, fruit and cheese platter and birthday card what a surprise. We we're also given vouchers for drink's in the casino and gaming chips. We we're blown away with the extras we received. The room was beautiful and clean with wonderful ocean views. The location is spot on everything is in walking distance. Our stay was perfect I definitely recommend staying here and I will be back. Thank you for making our stay memorable and enjoyable 😁

My room had an ocean inlet view, and the local parakeets up on the trees put on a show everyday! The balcony is a nice touch. Bathroom is large. Merchant Cafe and its menu is a gem and a delight. It has the best coffee, no hyperbole. The baristas are creative too with their coffee foam designs. The breakfast menu is the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, and I’ve traveled a lot. All of these made for a wonderful stay.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino. While the hotel and location were spectacular, it was by far the service that made our stay so wonderful. The staff are so attentive and helpful. I'd stay here again in a heart beat. Big shout out to Matthew who gave us fantastic advice on how get the most out of our stay.

Great location in Cairns. Convenient to Great Barrier Reef boats, boardwalk restaurants and shopping district. Didn't gamble ,but there is a very active casino. Room was excellent and pool was not busy. Excellent location if you are heading to Cairns with impeccable service.

we do a couple of girls trips each year and always now stay at casino on a package, the tropical one normally. this time we tried the soy kitchen the meal was amazing and the manager was outstanding very professional and friendly we will defiantly share the experience to friends. room was great as usual very comfortable, next time we will book earlier so we get double beds but no fault of the hotel. Breakfast each day was also outstanding staff were great and the meals were perfect.

Location was close to city centre, but not so close that we heard late night partying from young party goers (if that’s not your thing).
Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby and short walking distance to the pier for all your tourist activities.
We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment at the casino, it was age appropriate for all ages (including us 50’s). We were there Saturday and Sunday night.
Our room had a great water view.
Bed (fantastic size) and pillows were very comfortable, as were other furniture in the room.
Amenities provided were high quality.
Bathroom was a good size and included a great makeup mirror.
Tv right in front of the bed and a decent size.
Hotel staff were extremely polite and respectful.
Cleaning staff to our room and waitresses were very thorough especially at the café downstairs.
Honestly, the only downfall was our dinner in the actual casino itself. Really nothing to brag about. We only went there because we were so tired from walking around all day.

My family stayed at the hotel to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, and the swimming pool was well maintained, so I was very satisfied. The location was good, so I could walk to dinner and it was also very convenient for taking a walk. I want to give it 100 stars

Centre of all the action, great service, food etc.y tip stay across the road at sister hotel. Pullman Hotel. Old but beautifully renovated

We had a two night stay arranged for my husband’s birthday. We were lucky to receive a beautiful upgrade and some cheese and wine on arrival.

The view was beautiful….we could see the large cruise ships in dock, the inlet and the mountains beyond. To watch the big boats leave and arrive was something we’d never seen before. As Cairns locals, we are thankful to have the visitors support our local economy.

We ate at Soy and Tamarind restaurants. Service was warm and efficient. Tamarind was very special.

For us what always stands out is the welcome and the service of the hotel staff. This is why it will always be our first choice in Cairns.
