Had brekky with my fiancé here and it tasted so good! Staff were welcoming and the chef came out to check on us and how our meal went, My partner got a parma which the chef made fresh sauce which was yummmm! Atmosphere is welcoming and calm, enjoyed nice brekky here would defs come back

Had a great breakfast at Zelena Café in Croydon High Street. The service was friendly and the food and coffeee was excellent. They've just opened up again after the relaxing of Melbourne restrictions and had QR codes to sign in with and hand sanitizer to use. Really can't understand the negative reviews, as my pictures show the quality of the food is great.

The Staff were welcoming and the Chef was very kind to put fresh sauce onto my Chicken Parma. Nice and quiet environment and great to eat.

compliments to the chef. I had ordered zucchini fritters, beautifully presented, large proportion size and tasted delicious. staff were friendly. I don't normally write reviews, but really thought this cafe deserved to get one.

The most delicious big breakky for 2! My best friend and I walked out stuffed to the brim. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection.

Delicious Coffee, Delicious Fritters among many other items on the menu. Zelenas is a must-try café that you will not be disappointed with. Exceptional customer service in an atmosphere that is comfortable and clean, Space for small or larger groups, with an outdoor area for those that love the fresh air.

Just like to say Hubby & I plus friends come to Zelenas on a regular basis still after all these years, it is friendly, we feel like part of an extended Family, made so by Maria & Staff, I really don't know where you mo! Oops people are getting your information from, the staff always look happy, I have never seen Maria, cruel manipulative, or anything other than friendly, as to the pay, I personal as a satisfied customer, am sure Maria pays the going rate plus, meals & drinks when on their breaks, how you unless an old unsatisfied staff member, please think before you write reviews
Than can hurt people there is room for all the cafe/resturants in Croydon, get on with your life & enjoy it be nice to all you'll feel so much better writing this while sitting enjoying the best iced coffee with longtime customers/friends

Most amazing big breakfast I’ve ever seen. Excellent coffee as well. I never write reviews, but I had to for this place. Definitely recommend the big breakfast for 2. So much food you could easily feed three people and the quality is incredible.

Breakfast platter was awesome. We’ve gone back multiple times. Delicious cakes. Tea drinkers dream cafe as the pot of tea is so big and it has 4 teas in it. Lovely service.

a fabulous experience from start to finish today as the 6 of us enjoyed a huge breakfast and great coffee with friendly wait staff and a table that was so spacious with a comfy seat. we were able to split bills which was great and the owner was really friendly. clean and tidy ... we will definitely be back ... thank you for having us :)

We found it a lovely place to dine , food was lovely and drinks. The waiter we had Johnno was amazing, such a delightful young man , helpful and polite nothing was to much trouble. We will be back I,m sure.

Great selection of food from breakfast to dinner. This morning's breakfast was eggs on sourdough and a side of mushrooms. Well cooked and both tasty and filling.

There's also a great selection of cakes of all sizes and shapes, so bought a strawberry flan and a chocolate cake, with a hint of orange for later.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff (as always).

We went to Zelena Cafe a week ago. The food was beautifully presented. The kids burger and chips was a kick of flavour Melting in your mouth. My mum had fish and chips and said it was delicious. Except the weird salad on the side. My Nanna had a Ceasar salad and really enjoyed that. And the kids ordered hot cakes. Witch were not what we expected. We learnt there is a difference between hot cakes and pancakes Afterall. The kids didn't like them but me and my 1 year old did. Very clean and good service. Cakes look amazing! It did add up quickly. But I didn't mind paying that little extra for good food.

Today our group of about 20 Aglow ladies and gent had a wonderful lunch. The friendly staff Maggie and Miguel were very accommodating and patient with us. The food was excellent and we were quite a noisy bunch and enjoyed our time at Zelena's very much. Thank you also Nahtali who was very helpful at the till sorting out our bill. Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available. I highly recommend this lovely gem.

Fabulous addition to downtown Croydon! Have been back a few times as well as friends going and giving rave reviews (we are a picky food eating group). The staff are super friendly and try their very best. The food is great with a good selection. The fresh made pastries are amazing. All new businesses have teething issues but they are doing an awesome job, give them a break as this is a great restaurant that is sorely needed in this area!

Great find in Croydon. Popped in to suss out their sweets selection and I was thoroughly impressed. Amongst amazing cakes and slices, my eyes caught sight of almond- meal filled croissants and custard doughnuts!
Everything was great! Coffee was delicious, the donut was fresh and soft, filled perfectly with real custard!
The croissant was fresh from the oven and still warm! Buttery soft with a smooth filling that was perfectly subtle and balanced! Loved it!
The staff were SUPER friendly and served us promptly, making us also feel very welcomed. The place was buzzing with customers enjoying all day breakfast and Im very eager to go back to try out the menu!
