Oasis Inn Holiday Apartments

I needed a room at the last minute, and this place was excellent value for money. Clean room, very comfortable bed, and seriously good water pressure for a decent shower. The pool area (garden, seats) was a neat spot to relax, and you can walk to the Esplanade in about five minutes. Close to a good range of shops and eateries, and very friendly, accomodating and welcoming staff. I would happily stay here again.

Let’s be honest, this ain’t a five star resort. But, if you’re after a great spot to rest ya noggin then look no further. Oasis Inn was a great spot to clock off after work (old skool shower pressure is a bonus). The amenities were basic and rightfully so. This is not a resort. Air con is terrific and doesn’t hum as loud as you’d think. Nice quiet area with great selection of shops near by. Try the Laos food close by (Crispy Chicken and Rice)

After our first night at oasis, was pretty disappointed with a few things regarding the cleaning. Raised the concerns with owner who was very helpful. We were happy with our stay the next night. Very good service, would recommend to anyone as a budget apartments , I am very glad the manager was friendly and helpful and willing to fix concerns that were brought to him. Will be coming back to the apartments everytime in Cairns. Very nice pool as well , very happy with the understanding of the manager.

A place that is great to rest awhile..yes it has many years behind it but the rooms are plenty big enough we had a studio apartment which had 2 reclining chairs a large double bed & kitchen table 2 chairs fullsize fridge freezer full-time gas stove microwave jug toaster cooking pots n pans n even a kitchen sink as well as a small but adequate bathroom & toilet. Overhead fan kept the room cool whilst one watched the TV or there was an air-conditioning one could use as well. There was a table n chairs outside unit which looked onto a great swimming pool & a free BBQ. There was laundry facilities out the back & some car parking spots. Nothing was any trouble for the owner..ask and you will receive...service with a smile if you cared to rest awhile. On a main road but traffic noise was OK and not far from anywhere.. plenty of places to replenish supplies nearby.

We stayed at the Oasis inn very friendly staff that helped us os much having to elderly people we were moved from the top floor to the ground floor at no extra cost I would recommend this place

The property location is a 2 minute walk to the esplanade and 5 to the cafe's, restaurants ect along the esplanade. Excellent location. The managers Mike and Mary are super friendly and very helpful,great service. Rooms were very clean and spotless..would recommend to anyone who comes into Cairns

Comfortable and clean bedroom; great location, near to the airport and also the city. The owner, Mike, is an adorable man! On my last day, he just offered me a bike for free and I could explore a lot more of Cairns before my flight back home. Thanks Mike for this act for generosity from you, you made my day!

Mike & Mary (the hosts) at the Oasis Inn Cairns were an absolute delight. So warm, welcoming & friendly, they assisted us anytime we needed anything, no matter how late or early it was. The place was very clean (including the pool) & the location is ideal as it is close to the centre as well as the airport. There are many shops nearby, including a 24/7 convenient store. The pool area presents outdoor tables & seating which are convenient if using the free barbecue facilities. Great value for money, & we will definitely be recommending to our family & friends!

Fantastic value for money! Convenient location - close to shops & all amenities, easy walk to CBD, pool always clean, rooms & bed linen were spotless & the showers never ran out of hot water. Staff were running around day & night assisting patrons, they were amazing! Absolutely recommend this place. Some ppl on here confuse serviced apartments with hotel accommodation. My cousin stayed in Cairns around the same time as us, they paid more than double the price we did, for not much more!

Mike is a very friendly and helpful host. While the place is old it is clean and comfortable. Remember the price of the room, you are not paying classy hotel rates.

Owner super helpful with short notice. Rooms very clean and the prices were very good. Plenty of experiences can be organised from here and discounts a plenty. Thank you Mike, thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Great place. The rooms are clean, fully equipped and located next to the seaside promenade. I sincerely thank Mike, the manager, very accommodating and awesome. I loved my stay. I recommend!

I had a great one bedroom unit, clean, secure, everything I needed, great value, great attitude and location perfect to my needs. Very close to the Tobruk Pool for a decent length swim to start the day and close enough to everything else

Self catering rooms are clean and well provided for a family of four. Excellent value. Manager Michael is very helpful. Pool is great.

Stayed here for 4 nights & couldn't fault it. The room was very clean the bed was comfortable & the manager Michael was extremely nice & helpful 👍. Will definitely stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a great place to stay, nice and tidy, quiet too, had a great sleep, air-con chilled my room right down, staff were very helpful, Mike in particular, who helped with my booking that I buggered up, he was very respectful andcleared up my mistake with a minimum of fuss.

Clean, affordable rooms with plenty of amenities. The staff were helpful and prompt with any queries.

A quaint home away from home. Private parking, chlorine pool, fully equipped kitchenette.

John was a great host. Location was perfect and facilities was what we needed. Would definitely stay there again
