One of the most beautiful beaches in the world, paroled so safe for the family, most awesome sunrises and sunsets, right hand point break awesome surf, the place for big wave surfing in cyclones its spectacular, beautiful beach walks, camping ground, BBQs and food market of a weekend on the beach.

There are not many places around South-East Queensland where you can watch the sun go down over the surf. Cylinder beach is one of those places, and is worth the visit. Bring beer or wine :)

Very natural, unspoilt curving sandy Bay, close to bus stop, great walk along the coastal path via the beach or hill track to Point lookout.

Great place to enjoy the scene. If you are lucky, u can see lots of dolphins on the beach. Recommended time for watching dolphins is at lunch.

After you go past the turn of to Cylinder Beach take the next left at the small Church and follow the road to the end. There is a large car park and walking paths down to the beach and headland.

Don't forget your camera because there are heaps of photo opportunities.

An absolutely gorgeous beach to walk along, it is not recommended to swim here because it is so isolated and not patrolled

This is the place to watch sunsets every afternoon. Bring your blanket a drink and some nibbles. Park up the top in the easy accessible carpark then walk down approx 30 steps to a great location on the rocks or a couple of seats and enjoy the late afternoons. Watch the surfers and dolphins as they both play in the rolling surf.
