Dna Espresso Bar

Part of Hawthorne Garage, a handy external coffee bar housed outside the main grocery store and deli. Always the best service and quality coffee. When I'm in the area this is my go to coffee stop. If you order food from the deli inside they combine your order and hand it through the window for takeaway.
There is handy parking for customers with driveway access from 2 streets so if you are in a work Ute it's easy to maneuver in and out.
Popular with trades as a lunch stop.

Only has low ratings because of low number of reviews. This hole in the wall at Hawthorne Garage is busy every single morning with regulars and locals love it. I visit often and the little ginger cookie is always a nice touch. Dog friendly.

Excellent coffee and fast service

I really like their coffee except for the fact that when I order capuccino, they give me a flat white. I think they batch make the milks and just pour it in despite the order. Would love to keep going if they fix this.

Hot drinks are regularly cold, coffee is hit and miss and hot chocolate is not chocolatey enough - basically warm milk

Took forever to get my coffee and then it was wrong. The lady behind me got her coffee first so I just wanted to check my order wasn’t forgotten. Short hair glasses girl made eye contact with me as though to speak with her, then scolded me that I interrupted her and the customer she was speaking to 🤷🏽‍♀ why signal me over to speak with you then. Just rude. Coffee is cold as well. Never again.
