Amazing with a capital A! We really enjoyed swimming there and jumping off several of the cliffs. The hike was semi-difficult. Very roller coaster like. Up and down. Up and down. But oh so worth it. Keeps the crowds away and makes the experience sweeter when you actually arrive. The water is pretty chilly, but you get used to it. It’s so clean! So clear! Worth the trip if you are in Cairns!

Expect a long and at times tideous climb to get there. It took us 50 min to reach the place and 35-40 min to get back to the car. As somebody else has saying in their review, this helps somewhat keep the big crowds away :). The place is really nice and most people get in for a bath. Just follow the big water pipe and you will get to the waterfall.

A decent walk to get there. Up and down hills. 40 mins each way - definitely ready for a swim when you arrive. Tricky access down to the water. Need to be mobile. Wouldn't take young kids. Beautiful spot

Beautiful waterfall where you can swim. About a 40 minute paved walk from the parking lot

Took us roughly an hour to walk each way, with some challenging hills. I would have to say that the waterfall at the end with its swimming holes are amazing, and very well worth the walk in the end. I went not long ago (summertime), and although we were met with rain, it was welcome because it cooled us down, and easily dried off once the rain stopped anyways. 100% would recommend it. It has got to be the best waterfall around Cairns!!! I would suggest if you are going to bring some snacks or a little packed lunch to bite when you reach the falls.

What a gem!! This place must be the most amazing waterfall to visit in Cairns. Easy walk up to the top which is easy enough for kids. The rock area by the falls can be hard to walk around on so kids will need to be supervised. The current pushing down the falls can also be strong so you need to know what you doing. Its also accessible via wheelchair to see some of the most breathtaking views too. Highly recommend it!!

Spectacular place to visit and even enjoy a dip. It's a hilly ascent in but well worth the effort. Sealed road in so walking surface really easy. Did I say it's hilly 🤣. Lots of places to go for a relaxing dip in the river.

Nice hike to the waterfall, up to a wonderful water hole for a much needed swim, for a cool off. Paved walking track with some very steep inclines up and down. But is wheelchair friendly.

This is a beautiful place! The path is actually a road so the footing is good. The hills, however, are punishing. The creek all along the way is lovely. We went when it was dry so would be better after more rain. You can swim at the top-well deserved when you get there. This track is 3kms in and 3kms out so be prepared with lots of water if you are doing it in summer. Also beware the March Flies! They hurt and they love the colour blue. This is a National Park so no dogs and no camping (I read a review which suggested it as a good camping spot-it is illegal to camp). Enjoy the bird song.

It's a long, but smooth walk, steep hills for little legs. Well worth it though once you swim in the very clear and very cool fresh water. The water can move quite fast and the rocks can get slippery so be careful. There is a nice swimming spot about halfway as well.

31/33 Worth the walk! Undulating paved road to get there then a quick scramble down some rocks to get to the water but we'll worth it. The water is crisp and refreshing (cold) but we'll worth it after the 3km walk in

A nice 3.4km walk along an up and down paved path/ road.

The falls itself was wonderful and big. Deep water and a great place to go for a swim.

They also have a variety of adventurous tours down in the falls which id recommend.

Really beautiful waterfalls. Plenty of parking at the end of the road so no stress. The walk to the falls is fully paved too. Around 30-40 minutes walk

6.5km return hike on a concrete Road that follows the pipeline. Steep at some points but worth it! Visit after some rain and it’ll be pumping. There’s a swimming spot near the lowest tier that has a mini infinity edge. Fresh but amazing!

Great place. 1.2 sealed walking track that follows the creek along under tree canopy. Can bike it or even pram it. Very picturesque with some beautiful outlooks across the rocks and the creek.

What a beautiful waterfall. Not recommended to swim in after heavy rainfall, but beautiful to look at!

There are 4 hills you suffer, and a few that have less suffering, but that makes it super refreshing when you get to the end and get to swim.
Just be careful after rain, swim smart.

The best of the swimming spots. An hour hike up the hill - but it's worth the serenity and wildlife.

It’s an amazing place to go hiking and swimming, though it takes 45 minuets to get to top and plenty up hills but trust me you won’t be regret when u see the waterfall!
