O Bar and Dining

Our party of 6 were here for a birthday lunch. The view was fantastic though moving backwards when the restaurant started rotating made me feel a little light headed. The food was fresh and delicious. The serves were a good size and satisfying. The waiter was attentive, polite and an expert in taking group photos! They had a special treat for the birthday girl which we thought was a really nice gesture. Highly recommended for celebrating special occasions.

Start to finish a class restaurant! The sunset views on the revolving floor are superb. We ordered from the a la carte menu and both my partner and I enjoyed all our 3 courses.The service was perfect, cocktails and wine selections were on point. We would definitely come back to dine again. You won’t be disappointed.

Every single dish we had was exceptional. I would highly recommend trying the slow roasted Wagyu beef, which was my personal favourite!
The service was a bit slow at the start but improved quickly.

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and once again, it didn't disappoint. The view is stunning! From the main entrees to the desserts, everything was fantastic. The desserts were especially yummy !!We love it and will definitely be back. The only drawback was that the cocktails weren't great. Still, considering everything else was excellent, I can't rate them lower than 5 stars.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We weren’t expecting big things but in the end, we had an amazing time. The restaurant is elegant and the service was next level. Then the food came out and we were blown away. My favourite was definitely the passion fruit soufflé! It was a taste sensation and would 100% have again. The iconic views were an added bonus.

What’s there to say about the O Bar that everyone else hasn’t said before!? It’s the place you want to be for drinks or dinner! But to be honest it’s not all the about drinks or food but it’s staff. They are the most wonderful group of people that could serve you. They are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and happy to have a chat about anything with you. Bravo to the owner and super attentive management team. Of course we all have our favourites. To me Alejandra and Roberta are super talented and wonderful staff members on the team but I’m sure I’m being super biased. But a special mention also goes out to Marcello who has now become a part of my friends.

The steak beef is nice.
The vegetables is so so.
Ice cream mango too sweet and all of us couldn't finish it.
My Apple Juice had a big cap of bottles inside of cup.
Overall, come here for relax or enjoy view is fine, but for food is not good place.

View nearly as good as the "other revolving restaurant" in Sydney, but food was superb. Painfully expensive, but at least it's really good. Wonderful lamb: most succulent I can remember. Excellent duck entree. The passionfruit souffle was just perfect - bold flavour, with interesting sort of tea (early grey? green? not quite sure) subtle flavours. Ambience and decor rather stylish... but you mostly ignore that and look at the view, of course.
So totally worth it for a special occasion.

Amazing place to have drink on a Friday afternoon. Love every bit of being there. The restaurant is revolve 360 degrees allowing you to enjoy Sydney scenery.

Ambiance was top tier. Food woow!!! Woow! Been a while since I had a good beef, that was the best. Book a table and enjoy a beautiful sunset and good atmosphere with just the right music and service.

Really enjoy our visits to OBar. The service is second to none and you really feel looked after when visiting. Super selection of wine and champagne. It's great early evening to sit and watch Sydney go by and transition into night.

Great place for a special occasion. We got the 5 course with wine pairing. Staff were friendly and helpful and the view was incredible. Highly recommend going to catch the sunset and dinner.

My partner and I visited O-bar yesterday evening for a belated birthday dinner for him. I was extremely excited to go here and my family kindly helped us pay to have some snacks and drinks here as a present for. For the bar snacks we ordered sweet potato fries (which were lovely) and the feta and chilli hummus dips (each dip was $14 which I thought was very expensive). When I ordered I asked what the feta and hummus came with and the waitress said bread which I was pleased with. When the food arrived however we received a single half a piece of sourdough each and that was it. I was really surprised about this as I assumed surely each dip would have at least come with half a piece of bread on their own let alone me having ordered two, if that was the way they chose to serve the food. There were two of us, two dips and half a piece of bread each. I wasn’t sure if we were just supposed to eat the rest with a spoon and honestly for the price both were really average. Later on when we both had our drinks I decided to ask if there was anything else small on the menu we could order as I was still hungry and the waitress said there was in fact extra bread for $3. I was more than happy to order and pay for that (which I did) however I wish that this would have at least been offered alongside the dips, or better they just give you more accompaniments in the first place. Finally when I went to pay I was asked if I would like to add a tip and I said no. I then noticed on my receipt that an almost $11 gratuity tip had been added? I wasn’t sure if this was just standard and the tip was meant to be extra or if this was the tip and the lady didn’t press no on the machine but I was really unhappy about it. Normally I would have just left it. But this was meant to be a one off amazing experience and it wasn’t. We spent nearly $42 on bar snacks and received half a piece of bread and that was it, on top of spending $142 overall including the drinks. I do want to be transparent and say the staff were lovely and refunded me the gratuity amount which I did feel really awful about. They were all pleasant no issues there. It was more the lack of value for money, overpriced and very average tasting food.

We were kindly invited back to O-Bar to re-try the experience and I have to say it was amazing. The ambience was incredible, the place smelt lovely, it was clean and the staff were so attentive. The food was presented really well, and was extremely delicious. We were kind enough to be offered the 'Signature Experience' which I would highly recommend. Our cocktails were light and fresh, the dips and fetta were incredible, and I loved having more of the sourdough bread. The small plates were also very flavoursome and filling. This experience definitely changed my perspective and it seems I just had a bad first impression. I am very grateful to have been given a second chance to visit O-Bar as this time it did not disappoint. I would definitely return.

Tonight we went to O bar and Dining for my birthday celebration. The views were absolutely amazing! The food was all 10/10 especially the wagyu beef and murray cod. Great selection of wines beverages. Service was good and there was a great atmosphere.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. The vibes, staff, food, drinks, you name it. Located on the 47th floor, this rotating bar and restaurant offers 360 degree panorama views of sydney. Would recommend trying this place! Make sure you have a reservation (they have three reservation options).

The perfect place for the celebration of a special event. The views of the night lights is magical. The service was friendly and attentive. A good selection of wine. The icing on the top was the food. If you are a foodie or in to fine dining or want to discover what fine dining is then you won't be disappointed. The combination of flavours was heavenly and very rich. It was a pleasure to eat slowly to savour the flavours.

LOUNGE BAR EXPERIENCE UPDATE 2024
A girl friend and I did one of the experiences guaranteed window seat cocktail and two later stand of food including choosing three dishes off the tapas menu. The food was excellent. We treated ourselves to a bottle Champagne and watched the day turn to dusk ( got there 5 pm left at 8 pm). A fantastic thing to do with a friend for a good chat.
Easy to get to across from wynard train station.
Highly recommend this for couples, besties snd solo’s.

Highly recommend this restaurant the overall experience was exceptional. We booked the silver experience for four of us which included guaranteed window seat (a must have), a glass of champagne and 3 course meal - a choice of entree, main and desert all were fantastic. Food beautifully presented on lovely and unusual plates. We also got some oysters as an extra. The wine list extensive, wine poured from a decanter into nice glassware.
It’s the little extra touched that make this a must place to go with your family, on a date (they have proposal packages) or with a few friends. Also have some single seats at a bar that looks over the city. It was a birthday and they brought out a small cake with a candle, a small birthday card and handmade chocolates. All unprompted just had birthday in the booking!
The restaurant slowly spins so the view is ever changing.
Walkable from train station and restrooms excellent.

The place is always amazing to be at! The 360 view it’s just stunning.
The food and drinks are really good and even if it’s fine dining (which is usually smaller portions) was enough to make us feel full!
The service was great and the staff took so much care of us, however, at the end when we were done with our meals it seemed that they kinda forgot about us, we understand it got busy but we have to wait a bit to get the bill and for the staff to clean our dishes 😅
We will definitely go back!

This was our third visit to the O Bar, our last visit was six years ago and the skyline has changed somewhat! Enjoyed a couple of local brews and local gins. Host Marcello could not have been nicer, he kept us topped up with water as well as drinks and he was happy to have a chat too. The ambiance was lovely and we hope to visit again.

Great food and the view is beautiful. Great service from Marcello. Definitely will be making this a regular spot!
