H&R Block Tax Accountants - East Maitland

H&R block have been doing my tax return for 10 years and always able to complete my return in approximately 30 minutes and takes the pressure off. I’m willing to continue with the for as long as possible.

Made an appointment here by mistake but glad I did. Didn't have to wait - was seen at the exact time of appointment. It was a basic return with a few curly bits but was all done and dusted in under 1/2 hour. Rates ere also reasonable. The best part was the expected return was much more than in previous years even allowing for changes in the system. Would recommend these guys for anyone wanting a quick efficient return.

First time I have used this branch of H&R but I wasn't surprised that they would be as great as the other branches I have used in the past. Lucky is a fantastic agent, she made sure to go through absolutely everything with me to ensure the maximum tax return possible. Thank you team!

Don’t come here with anything more complicated than a basic tax return. I attended in May with a complex tax issue, was given advice and paid for a service. I was contacted multiple weeks later and was advised that the action taken was incorrect. A further fee was paid and left with H & R Block to deal with. Months later (July 2019) I had not received any confirmation of lodgement to the ATO or updates so I contacted requesting further information which was promptly addressed with a “wait in line, the ATO is busy” response. Come September 2019 I get a request for further information which is provided on the very same day, confirmation of this being sent onto the ATO on my behalf was provided three days later. Fast forward to 24/9/19 and I follow up to see if there is any resolution to which I am advised simply “no sorry”. Later that same day I received an email requesting further documents which were again provided the same day. Now here we are on 1/10/19 and I am yet to receive confirmation the documents have been forwarded onto the ATO. I made a call to the ATO today to discover the tax agent has failed to forward on the documentation as requested.
