Having been a patient here for almost a year now, I can safely say it is a lovely practice and they aim to deliver patient-centred care. Dr Augustine Lyu is professional, always willing to listen, thorough and truly advocates for his patients. Highly recommend him as a GP!

Dr Susan Luu is my go to GP. She is friendly, cordial, thorough, listens, educates and gives me options. She is patient but efficient and does not muck about if she suspects something that needs closer, quick attention. I feel she really cares about my health as an individual, considering all factors that could be affecting my current health status and status for the longer term. I feel inspired to be proactive in making my health a top priority. Dr Luu is a GP I highly recommend to my own clients. The reception team are also lovely, organised and efficient. This clinic is my go-to practice.

This doctors practice is truely the best. I’ve gone here with both my pregnancies and Dr Allison Green was so thorough, thoughtful and caring. Recently my eldest son got RSV so we got an urgent appt with Dr Reena and we’ve received two follow up calls checking in to make sure he’s okay. All their staff really go above and beyond. We’ve since moved but still travel 45 minutes to go to this dr because they are so thorough.

I really like this practise. The doctors have been very patient focused with great bedside manner. It's only a couple of minutes from my home which is a plus. I have a host of chronic illnesses so it's been great for the doctors go the extra mile.

The GP’s, nursing, allied health, administrative and management staff at this clinic are truly WONDERFUL! The team are friendly, accomodating, knowledgeable and provide great care to their patients. Anytime my regular GP has been unavailable when I have needed an urgent consult or help with a particular issue, all the other physicians have been incredibly helpful, understanding and very thorough. I most like how the staff work as a team and how the doctors work collaboratively within the practice. The special interests of each GP and the flexibility of Telehealth appointments allow the clinic to provide a broad and responsive service. I would 110% recommend this clinical to anyone looking for a new GP for themselves or their families. Can’t thank them enough for the care they provide!

The quality of the doctors at this practice is highly variable. If you are going to come here I can highly recommend seeing Doctor Tarn Montagu. He's highly competent and he really cares (as a result don't expect him to ever be running on time, but it is worth the wait).

Other doctors I've seen and my opinion:

Doctor Drew Mattsson: He gets the job done. I can recommend him.

Doctor Augustine Lyu: Arrogant and reckless. My first appointment with him was to get assistance weaning myself off desvenlafaxine. His prescribed course of action was to have me take quetiapine twice a day in conjunction with the desvenlafaxine for a time; after a few days I would cease taking the desvenlafaxine. This was extremely bad advice. Quetiapine causes drowsiness; I would take it in the morning and have to go straight back to bed. Additionally I'm also not sure how quetiapine was meant to deal with the physical withdrawal symptoms associated with coming off desvenlafaxine. I had a phone appointment with Doctor Augustine to discuss how the quetiapine was impractical due to the drowsiness. He seemed annoyed that I had trusted his medical advice, his response when I told him that quetiapine caused me extreme drowsiness was "everyone knows that". He then proceeded to double down, saying I should start taking quetiapine three times a day. I did not do that. I can't in good conscience recommend Doctor Augustine.

Doctor Fiona Raciti: I was in significant pain when I saw her. I told her about my chronic headaches and explained how paracetamol just wasn't doing the job. Doctor Fiona's solution was to prescribe medication that would give me 10 hours worth of pain relief per day. When I called to complain about this, I was told to put an ice pack on my forehead.... Later that day I would be diagnosed with a 5cm meningioma in my brain. I haven't seen this doctor again. My opinion is she just won't take your pain seriously. Avoid this doctor.

Doctor Emma Morgan: The first doctor I saw at this clinic regarding serious issues with uncontrollable rage. I had booked the appointment with the specific intention of getting a prescription for an antipsychotic. Doctor Emma would not prescribe one as she wasn't familiar with it. Instead I got another mental health care plan. Turns out the problem was the aforementioned 5cm lesion in my brain. I haven't seen Doctor Emma again, and I have no intention of ever seeing her again.

Some notes regarding the experience of going to this clinic: Do not ask reception about what doctor you should see for a specific issue. They will just guess, and if you try and get some accountability for a bad outcome you'll be asked why you're trusting a receptionist's medical advice. Also, they won't let you talk to a doctor first either. Basically if you want to get something tricky looked at you'll have to keep trying doctors at random until you get one that has a clue. Each appointment will cost you of course.

As I've had to complain about three of the doctors here, I've spoken with the practice manager Ri a couple of times. Her opinion is that when I show up I am paying for the "time and experience". My response is that I am paying for results. I pointed out that her approach will jeopardise repeat business and they will run out of patients.

Ri's attitude tracks quite well with my experience coming here. If you book an appointment they feel entitled to your money, but they get indignant if you assert that you are entitled to a result. Basically it's a fight with the system. Good luck!

An outstanding service; availability, friendliness, ease of communication and professionalism are consistently excellent. I've been looked these last few years by 4 FDP doctors, all commendable, and in particular wish to acknowledge Dr Susan Luu. Her persistence, thoroughness and prompt action are outstanding, supported by a caring, personable manner I've not experienced in a medical centre previously. Cannot recommend more highly.

I've been attending Family Doctors Plus for the last year. Dr Augustine Lyu is a phenomenal doctor. He's extremely thorough and very caring.

I have visited this clinic a couple of times and have always had a great experience. Dr Peter Bowstead is so thorough and caring. He took the time to understand my concerns each time and is really easy to talk to. My 6 year old son also felt at ease with him. I wish we lived closer as we would make him our permanent family GP.

I've seen a few doctors at this clinic before, and all of them have been fantastic.

Most recently, in my visit with Dr Tarn Montagu, I felt heard and very well taken care of. He explained what he was going to do and why in language that I would understand, and provided options, which made me feel autonomous.

In the delirium of my illness I only booked a short session despite of the multiple bodily complaints that require attention (I'm sorry to other patients for the delay this caused), but Dr Montagu was patient with me and gave me the time needed. I was absolutely not rushed out the door.

Dr Montagu also emailed me a med cert after the appointment and promised a follow up text regarding medication. I was treated like a real person that exist outside of the clinic (not meant to be sarcastic, I understand how busy and crazy dr's lives can be), and the medical care extended beyond the visit really made me feel looked after.

This excellent service is by no means just with Dr Montagu, other Drs at the clinic that I've seen do similarly fantastic work.

The receptionist staff are also really friendly, helpful, and patient, which is wonderful especially when you are already feeling vulnerable and weak.

I will definitely continue to visit this clinic and recommend my friends in the area for the brilliant service they provide.

Got an appointment within 30 minutes of booking with Dr. Augustine who was incredibly thorough and kind. Best doctor experience I’ve had in years! Lovely and efficient reception staff as well.

Dr Chelsie McMullin is a warm-hearted, positive, and very helpful doctor. I don’t speak good English but she’s always patient with me and she explains everything for me. She saw me and listened to me in a deep and caring way, and I felt like her medical knowledge was extensive. I also think she’s very reliable. I wish I had more vocabulary to express how amazing she is. Just want to recommend her to everyone.

I have been a patient here for a number of years. This is the best doctors practice I have ever been to. Dr Maria is my GP and has always provided exceptional medical advice. She is very attentive and caring. The receptionist staff are efficient and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Rockstars - I've been using this practise for years, even after moving further away. I've had appointments with quite a few different doctors, and they've all been super knowledgable and caring. Over the years there's been two or three more serious appointments, really appreciated the doctors calling a few days afterwards just to check-in and make sure I'm travelling ok. We would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at your practice for the magnificent way you organised the Covid19 vaccine. It was like clockwork - extremely professional, caring and friendly at all times. After arriving, we received clear instructions and the patient treatment areas were well-spaced and OUTDOORS - what a wonderful idea as an extra precaution. Also, we noticed that when each person left the premises, a staff member wiped the seats for the next patient. What more can we say! We would highly recommend your practice to everyone.

Rachael from Family Docs Plus is my new favourite person!! First time visiting the clinic today with our baby for her needles. Rachael went above and beyond to settle our nerves, make us feel comfortable and we appreciated her kindness. She was fast and gentle with the needles and just made the whole experience better! I have been a patient with Family Doctor's since opening. I followed Maria and Fiona from their previous practice. The whole team have comprehensively managed my spinal and other injuries since a life changing accident. Not only that, their expertise in the latest information has kept our community informed and healthy. My family see all of the Doctors. All I have is praise and gratitude for the latest proven treatment and preventative medicine.

Fantastic practice. The most thorough caring doctor's. Yes the fees are a little steep , but you get what you pay for . Quality patient care .

It is a bit dear, but most GPs have had to put their pricing up recently. There always seems to be an appointment available at late notice, which is a huge plus. Doctors are also really friendly too - and helpful - a rare find!
