The staff is very kind and helpful! Regarding the kitchen, this has been the best campsite I’ve ever been so far, it was very well equipped and quite clean. Also, decoration and lighting is great. Showers and toilets are also good. The only bad part about this camping is the big amount of mosquitoes, there are TOO MANY, but of course this is normal if you are in nature. However, it is crazy how many there are, you cannot stay outside, you need to be in your van or tent. I would repeat with more bite cream and repellent.

Stayed here for 1 night over the long weekend. Had originally booked lovers lane however on arrival the owners let us know that had swapped sites for us to be closer to amenities which was nice. We had dog corner all to ourselves which had plenty of room for us to spread out. Flushing toilets & beautiful showers! Loved the showers so much I wanted to take one home haha, I swear it was one of the best showers I’ve ever had I didn’t want to get out! The bush kitchen was super handy too. Lovely owners with lots of handy information about the place & surrounds. We also made a mistake with our booking date and they were happy to fix for us with no dramas! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.
Midges & mozzies were a bit annoying but they gave fair warning on their website about it and also gave us the option of purchasing some repellent from them :) ours clearly wasn’t up to scratch but that was our fault :)
Also pet friendly :)

Such a well laid out park! Space galore! Amenities are clean and well functioning- water pressure is great!

Bring mozzie coils, candles, sprays etc... the midgies and mozzies are a bit brutal due to all the rain.

Four of us stayed here before going to Fraser for a week, and it was amazing! The owners were extremely friendly and chatted to us about the history of the buildings and the campsite. Awesome little area of nature, definitely coming back!

We loved our stay here. Even though arriving late we advised the owners and they still greeted us on arrival, providing us with maps of the sites and letting us stay at a spot closer to the amenities than what we had booked as it was available.
Lots of old australiana charm, toilets and showers were clean and camp kitchen was very useful.
In retrospect we should have taken the owners offer to purchase their beg repellent as the sprays we had had little effect. We hadn't been bitten so bad anywhere else we've camped.

Had a 2 night stay for the epic river heads rocks music festival.

Our camping facilities were excellent.
Every detail is attended to.
There were multiple shower abd toilet blocks around this spacious Bush reserve type park.
There was a music festival running but I didn’t have to wait at all to use the camp kitchen or shower amenities.

The camp kitchen is well appointed, Clean well supplied with kitchen equipment both functional and practical.
There was an excellent gas cook top, microwave, fridge and toms of hot water and gas.
Once again I didn’t at all have to wait to use any of the facilities, evidence that there is more than adequate supply provided of all the necessities and creature comforts.
I noticed over the weekend there were people quietly moving around the amenities cleaning and restocking.
I found that very unusual for a camp ground .
I’ve never experienced that before but it was very much appreciated, the attention to detail second to none.
Suzanne and Paul have created a lovely space they share with tourists and locals , having created a beautiful facility that supports the natural environment including native wildlife. It was lovely to wake up to birds chorus each morning and wide open space. I’d say 5 stars for every category of good service and hospitality.
I will stay again and highly recommend this faculty to anyone seeking a great camping experience.

Just stayed for 3 nights in Rileys corner. To be honest every campsite looked great. Very spacious(this is why we stayed).Beautiful surroundings and a great host. Showers, toilets and bush kitchen were spotlessly clean. This is definitely our stay when we are in the area. Had a great few days.

Perfect camping spot! Honestly this is 5 star camping. The owners are sharing their little slice of paradise. There is a lot of space, facilities are great and beautiful as well ! People are very friendly! I would always stay here when I'm in the area. Perfect for 1 night or a longer stay as well

If you're like us and tired of the holiday parks that feel more like RV showrooms this is the perfect place to stay. Private, spacious, tranquil, spotless amenities and tonnes of personal unique touches. Nature and bird lovers paradise! Check-in is super easy. Midges are easy to avoid with long pants and socks - a small price to pay for such beautiful surroundings in our opinion. You'd be a fool not to stay if you're passing through Hervey Bay. Our fave campsite so far. Two nights, unpowered.

Australiana themed RV Park with novel amenities block, camp kitchen, wash house and disabled facilities featuring rusted corrugated iron. Plenty of room to spread out in bush setting. Secure entry and exit, your phone number will be verified. If by chance the gate is open on arrival, drive direct to office where this will be done. Lots of walking trails. Loved this park.

Absoloutely fantastic holiday park! We booked the site for four adults and two dogs! The site is very dog friendly and the owners seem to love all the animals that visit the park!
We used the dog sitting service for the day and our dogs were very well looked after and sat with, as we left them and arrived back to the site.
The walking trails are beautiful with access to plenty of wildlife and an incredible sunset spot at the top of the hill.
The owners couldn't be happier to help us with any queries we had, with firewood available on site every day.
The facilities were some of the best we have ever experienced, the showers were hotter and more powerful than the ones we have at home, and kept impeccably clean, not even a spiders Web to be found.
Can not wait to come back to Queensland to visit this camp site, we just need to book for longer next time!

We have had a lovely time at this park. The bird chorus to wake up to is amazing.
Loved the showers. Paul and Suzanne are always trying to make your stay better. Today I test drove the new shower curtain which helps keep clothes dry and the cool draughts at bay. I already loved the showers and now they are 5 star.
A great park when you want to enjoy the serenity of the bush.
Thanks Suzanne and Paul ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We camped here for 3 days in August and had such a lovely time. The facilities are immaculate and stunning. The bathrooms, laundry and bush kitchen facilities have been designed in a charming rustic style but are new and modern, which was fabulous. Suzanne and Paul were super friendly hosts and had great locally produced items for sale in the reception. Next time we'd love to give the Mango Lodge a try - it looks like the perfect way to unwind and relax in nature without giving up excellent modern comforts! Next time we're up north again, we'll be sure to stop by. Thanks again.

We had a lovely stay at the RV Park. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and they have the cutest little four legged park ranger, Rosie! Only feedback we'd give is to have a little more privacy on our site next time but it was still very lovely. Definitely worth paying extra for the wallaby washhouse and the firewood, one less thing to pack! We will be coming back! 😍

Well what can I say...apart from we had the best time at this amazing place. From the time we arrived to the time we left we felt so welcomed. Suzanne & Paul couldn’t do enough for us. They have created a special place for everyone to enjoy. Not to mention Rosie the dog, she is so beautiful and makes it feel a little like home. We had our own private toilet called the “bog” and our own shower. The “bush kitchen” was well equipped with everything a home kitchen has. And loved the fire pit every night. Thank You for your hospitality and we will definitely see you soon.

There’s pet friendly and then there’s this place. My furry sidekick was welcomed with open arms, in fact I was ordered to let him roam and have some fun. He had the time of his life!
Trevor was watching the place for the owners and he was an absolute legend, such a welcoming person. I was traveling on my own as a woman and I felt totally safe and comfortable here, it’s a real haven. And the facilities are so good - there’s so many unique touches and it’s all clean and of the highest quality. I loved the watering can shower head! No generic old brick shower buildings here.
The only problem is the midgies - come prepared with the strongest of sprays and bring coils and long burn candles.
I can’t wait to come back!!

We’ve stayed here twice now and Suzanne and Paul have always been so welcoming, and accomodating! We love the size of the campground, proximity to the boat ramp for our Fraser trips and the facilities are amazing.

Camp kitchen has everything a home kitchen would have and looks great. The newly built tank block with showers and toilets is so unique and an awesome addition. During one of our stays we had our own bathroom cabin to ourselves.

There are little cabins and the mango lodge as well for those who don’t have a caravan/camper van or tents. These are perfect for a stay before or after heading to Fraser and the barge is only 5 minutes down the road.

The campsite itself is really nice, large average with so much wildlife and both times we have stayed we have been so far away from other campers.

As you’ll see in some reviews there are midgies around, but they are generally always present at any coastal camps near a bit of water and always worse in wet or hot season. At least you can prepare for this if you are usually attacked by midgies.

Overall it’s such a nice location, it’s facilities are amazing and the space you will have while camping!

One of the nicest RV-Parks we've experienced. Very friendly folks and a beautifully maintained camp ground located right in the middle of gorgeous nature. Pete, Tim and Simone from Germany

WOW, thank you Suzanne and Paul (& Rosie!). You have such a beautiful property and we all really loved our stay. We had the Wallaby Wash House which was so amazing, we also snuck a peek at the other facilities that looked super clean and well maintained (love the quirkiness). What a really cool place! Hope we can return again soon :)
