We have been hiring, buying and coming to George’s for years! Best service and professional advice on all things skiing, boarding and Mt Buller! Super informative, helpful, kind and patience, even with my little one which is a winner every time! Thank you heaps George’s! We will be back again and again!

As we come from WA I required help with the hire of equipment and the bus from Melbourne. Andrea from George's Ski Hire was amazing. She took the time to help me with the online hire. She also took the time to help me with the bus between customers. She took the stress from me that I had been feeling for some time now.

I couldn't ask for better service and I thank you Andrea for all your help.

There were 7 of us & we rented all our Skis & Snowboards here. The 2 Andrea's were so friendly & helpful. The day before we arrived after lunch & rented snowboots. Definitely recommend.

They have everything you need here and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices are reasonable out of all ski 🎿 shops, they are the BEST 👌. On day 4 my husband was so exhausted and we were stuck in Mansfield. Andrea from George's Ski Hire has gone the extra mile and arranged someone to pick it up the following day. Andrea is Amazing👏 . The staff at Georges are fantastic, friendly and fast. You can also leave your skis overnight so you don't have to lug them back to your lodge. All up, 5 stars.

This place is good. For snowboards, the boots we got were with BOA system which is much easier to put on. Comparing with buller sport. They only have boots with laces which makes it hard to put the boots on. Secondary since we are hiring for 6 days and staying in the village. They have an overnight storage facility so we can just leave the stuff there overnight without carrying the board back to the hotel. After we done for the day, just leave the stuff there and go back to the hotel. The next day just pick up from the shop again! This is a life saver service.

Friendly team, will take their time to find the best fit for each individual. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend this business to anyone considering renting gear etc..

Experienced family business with friendly and helpful staff. Fitted me out comfortably at reasonable rates for a good day's skiing. Conveniently located close to the chairlift and not far from ski school. Highly recommend!

We hired skis and ski boots also helmets. The lady in the shop showed a lot of passion and gave us a lot of time to make sure that our children were dressed appropriately for the snow and gave them a feeling of success even before they hit the slopes. She resize the helmet and fitted the goggles properly and taught our daughter how to do it herself.

Remember to make good eye contact in the hire section and talk to the people who are serving is it times they do get a bit chatty with each other behind the counter but otherwise we were served really well.

Excellent service from Marina at Georges today. She fixed an issue with my boot even though I had not purchased anything there. She was patient and helpful despite the fact that I was regretfully a little rude to her at first due to stress.

Rob and the crew for setting me up with all the equipment. I really appreciate and encourage everyone to visit the shop, great variety of items at all budgets.

Staff are well knowledge and friendly , initially booked standard ski package but opted just for walk boots at the last moment. Andrea and Staff were generous enough to provide walking shoes instead of ski shoes at no extra cost even after using ski shoes for few minutes.

They are very helpful and friendly, and the owner is a legend! My daughter had her skis upgraded for better fit. My child lost a ski on a black run; we paid for the lost ski and left. George 's staff phoned me to tell that ski was found and refunded cost. I just want to praise their honesty, integrity and great service. Highly recommend!

My first ever ski experience was made amazing by George's ski hire. We got locker, perfect jackets, pants boots and skis for a good price. The staff there is quite professional and accommodating. I definitely recommend this place if you don't know where to start your ski journey. If you book online, you get 10% discount on stuff.
