Breathtaker Hotel & Spa

First time at the snow for our family and the Breathtaker was the perfect place to stay! Driver Robert made the transfer smooth up and down the mountain and loved how the staff bought bags to the room for you. Food was great and atmosphere was perfect. Loved our stay!

Although the room was a little out dated the service from reception and from the restaurant was outstanding and definitely over weighs the cons of this place. Thank you to Emma for your amazing service last night. Recommend the barramundi and it didn’t disappoint! 10 points to the chef! My friends also were impressed with the service. I hope she got the tip we left!

Simply Fantastic. Truly ski-in ski-out location with clean, comfortable and modern rooms. The shared spaces in the hotel, from the spa area to the drinking lounge, are amazing. A complimentary barista made coffee in the morning and wine/beer after a day of skiing was also a nice touch. The staff are all friendly and professional; special thanks to the lady at the front desk who brought us some cooking oil to our room.

I would also recommend the transfers Breathtaker offer from the Sebel hotel in Merrijig. The driver is super friendly and most importantly a great driver. All our luggage was delivered to our room without us lifting a finger so we could maximise time on the slopes. Thanks Breathtaker team, we'll be back.

Simply breathtaking! The views - amazing. The Grand Suite @ Breathtaker was perfect for a weekend away in the snow for 2 young families being well appointed with plenty of room and all the mod cons needed to have a fabulous holiday. The location was only a walk away from all the action, the hotel catered for adults and children with great facilities all on site. The food and wine with breakfast every morning - delicious! A number of treatments were thoroughly enjoyed in the day spa - beautiful with wonderful attention to detail! Most importantly the Breathtaker team were absolutely amazing both in service and attitude! We officially love the snow and cannot wait to get back to Mt Buller. Thank you to the team @ Breathtaker! We cannot wait to return....we never wanted to leave!

Third time we've been to Breathtaker during ski season. We love this place, if it's not suitable to ski, you can lose yourself in the spa retreat. Such a beautiful setting to relax, so therapeutic and serene. The resort has been renovated which was lovely and the staff were all very attentive. We always book their transfer up the mountain for convenience aswell and find the whole process so much easier. I booked a spa treatment on the last day with Sarah, it was absolute bliss. So relaxing and a great way to end our holiday. I had the breathtaker Facial 90 minute treatment which also included, a back massage, body palming and a hand and arm massage and my skin felt so hydrated afterward and looked quite radiant. It's been years since I've had a facial, it got rid of some blemishes and breakouts. Three weeks later and my skin looks amazing now. Thanks Sarah, you are amazing :)

I came to Breathtaker for the day. I came here to enjoy the day spa (book your services in advance) and the restaurant.

First, the day spa was sensational. I booked in the a mini facial and a massage. By the end of the session, I was incredible relaxed and happy.

Next, I went to the cafe/ bar upstairs. They had a special for Mexican Hot Chocolate (hot chocolate with a shot of fireball whiskey). Yum! I had 3 in a row. I was toasty and warm as I relaxed on one of the many couches on offer.

We shared a pizza, which was tasty!

A must visit for those wanting a relaxing time!

Breathtaker go above and beyond in their service and we couldn’t fault them! They will happily store any of your snow gear and bags prior to and after arrival/departure. This made things super easy for us as we didn’t have to take our luggage with us everywhere. Daily room service, buffet breakfast, incredible spa and pool (the treatments are incredible), a lovely restaurant and also a cosy upstairs bar that does awesome hot chocolate!! What doesn’t this place have?! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to Mt Buller!

Booked myself in for a relaxation massage after a few days skiing, and it was absolute bliss. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. It was just what I needed 🙌 thank you!

I haven't stayed here but have had dinner and drinks on a number of occasions. The staff are possibly the most accommodating on the hill. Great pizzas upstairs and the Signature restaurant is worth a visit too.

Situated at the Toorak like end of Mt Buller this Hotel has the only Day Spa on the Mountain with massage , plunge pool & pampering facilities. Along with the usual restaurant hotel & dining facilities. Being the Mt Buller Private Taxi & Ride Covid Safe Transport , I am always pleased that this hotel provides one of the few Concierge type type receptions on Mt Buller!!!

My girlfriend and I just had the 90 minute massage with foot scrub. It was absolutely amazing after a day out snowboarding. Well worth the money, highly recommend 🙂 we will be back!!

The hotel is ok with quite compact rooms but in a great location. Unfortunately our room didn't enjoy the great views and parking is quite limited due to the location. However our stay was quite pleasant thanks to the hotel staff who was very helpful and friendly at all times.

With COVID 19 the company were very pleasant to deal with in getting a refund for our trip that we couldn’t attend due to restrictions. We look forward to rebooking and value dealing with people who do the right thing in difficult times.

Didn't stay here just visited the restaurant. It was lovely. The food was great the staff friendly and helpful and tbe wait time was appropriate. This was our second visit and we will be back again.

such amazing food at the signature restaurant and the staff was really sweet and the bartender made delicious mulled wine and the decor was gorgeous!
