Healthy and sporty

As someone who usually shops at large retailers for footwear I was initially a bit cautious about shopping here; however, I was pleasantly surprised by the store. The lady who served me was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to ensure all of my questions were answered. I can't place a large enough emphasise on the level of customer service at this store! Watch out Rebel you have competition!

Great service, and got a further sales discount on shoes which was a nice surprise!

Service was great upon purchasing a pair of hiking boots. But when the foot capsule started separating from the sole within 4 weeks of purchase I returned to the store to ask for an exchange or refund given one of the shoes was starting to come apart. The employee said she will get back to me after taking a photo of the boot and my receipt. A couple of days later she wrote a text saying her boss advised no refund or exchange since the boots have been worn, and directed me to a repair store.
I replied with Fair Tradings’ rules on repair, exchange and refunds, which state consumers are entitled to a free repair or exchange as products sold need to be of reasonable quality, and asked that she reconvene with her boss and advise accordingly. They never responded.
Won’t be shopping here again, consumers be weary.
