Station Stop Cafe

Great place to have a breakfast and lunch in a sun outside. Coffee are great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. 100 star for them . No one should miss this place.

Really good food, really friendly staff. Kid friendly, great spot. It really ticks all boxes.

The wife had a beetroot and facon hamburger, had a bite and got a fair bit of food jealousy from it.

Citrus & lemon meringue tart was quite nice. Ambience is like a time capsule going back in time. Would check out the PlayStation next time we return.

Beautifully area good place to take the kids , plenty to do (however) the cafe food is somewhat disappointing , suggesting to bring your own picnic basket .

Great location with friendly staff however the selection of sweet food is limited. The red velvet cake has definitely been in the cabinet too long and turned dry and crumbly.

Place needed a good clean, staff were wearing dirty clothes, food overpriced for serving. Left hungry. Coffee was good.

stopped here on lake bike ride...seemed popular with mothers clubs due to playstation.... cakes were bit stale... staff a bit vague on menu... ordered their "milkshake of the week" retro vanilla malt ... except it had no malt and was 50% whipped can cream .... and staff werent sure about it despite it being posted on menu board ... it ended up $3 more than standard milkshake... my poor choice

We visited the Play Station recently and our experience at the cafe was really disappointing after what had been a nice morning visiting the animals.
We waited for over 40 minutes for a small takeaway coffee. During this time, we politely reminded staff about the order on at least 3 separate occasions, but each time it was as if they had no idea that we were waiting! Our toddler needed a sleep and was becoming more and more difficult to handle.
Finally, I asked for a refund but it seemed easier to just wait for the coffee at that point.
Ordinarily, a long wait and a few reminders wouldn't compel me to write a bad review but it's what happened next that was unacceptable and the reason for the negative review.
When the coffee was eventually brought out, I thanked the waitress and turned to leave. The waitress then stuck her finger up at me behind my back, in front of the other patrons and my children, as I walked away. Honestly, I've never been treated with such disrespect. I'm still in shock at how immature and unprofessional the staff member was.
The other bad reviews re cleanliness and food are also correct. The train and animals are fun but give the cafe a miss!

Limited menu share menu isn't suitable for children to share orded share hot dogs expecting to share with the children yet had all toppings not suitable for children and I myself also disliked $17 down the drain no refund offered yet food was barely touched

Not great coffee to quick also cakes terrible maybe food would better and only lollies
