Chalet 5, Whitehorse Village

From the expansive views of the Victorian Highlands to the impeccable finishing of the luxurious bathrooms and entertainment areas, this apartment had it all. I stayed here with my husband and we couldn't have been happier with this chalet. The proximity to the slopes of Mount Buller topped it off, though, with only a short (~1 minute) walk to the closest corduroy, we were able to ski from morning to night. We loved this apartment and cant wait to stay here again the next time we visit Mount Buller

A gorgeous apartment with incredible views. Absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a fantastic snow trip. Right at the top of Bourke St, ski in and out access was a breeze. Especially loved the outdoor heaters on the balcony!

Wonderful accommodation in the heart of the slopes. The accommodation is new and clean with amazing facilities and views. It's everything you need for a great holiday. The ski slopes are right on your doorstep quite literally outside the door. We loved to be able to ski in for a quick lunch then back out onto the slopes for an afternoon run.

It would be magic in summer as well with great access for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking.

5. Great location, not too far from the village square and right in front of the skii grounds.

6. Loved that there was a fireplace, and overall great heating!

7. Complete kitchen utensils.

Amazing place to stay in mt Buller. Very close to everything. Best view in the mountain. Very comfortable stay with family, spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again next time! 5 starts all the way

I need to give 2 stars for one thing... the view, which was amazing. That's where it ends!

The apartment was covered in dust upon arrival.
Dead moths and insects all over the floors and furniture.
Table and chairs and were covered in dried on food marks and fingerprints.
No bin liner in the dirty mouldy bins.
Bad odour coming from the grates in the bathroom floors (had to cover with papertowel to try and reduce the smell)
Dirty dry cloth stuck in the kitchen sink.

I had to purchase cleaning products to clean as there was nothing to clean with.
The vacuum was absolutely disgusting didn't work.

Woke up several times during the night to heaps of moths flying around. They were getting in from somewhere as there were no doors or windows opened!

Worst stay i have ever experienced! Definitely not what I expected considering the price we paid to stay!

Very very poor! We WILL NOT be back!

Please believe me, I stayed here for two nights and spent nearly 4000 Australian dollars, which is only the accommodation fee, and other fees do not include booking shuttles, etc. Moreover, there was a small amount of feces mixed in the toilet of the apartment and it was not cleaned properly. Do not book this apartment, it is very inconvenient to get in and out, you cannot drive to the accommodation, and you need to book a shuttle several hours in advance to get in and out of the apartment. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk from the apartment to the snowy mountain. It is really tiring to walk back to the apartment with the children because the road back to the apartment is uphill, which is a very bad experience. I will never go to this Melbourne Mt Buller Snow Mountain.

Perisher Snow Mountain is still worth recommending.
