Hog's Breath Cafe Main Beach

My family of 8 had lunch at Hogs Breath here on Tuesday. I was pleased that everyone was happy with their meal, each being cooked to perfection. I personally like naturally cooked food with the flavour packed into the food without the need of sauces. This pic is of my meal, panfried crispy chicken breast and avocado with prawns and veges, yummy!

I came into the restaurant last week for my daughter’s birthday, the service and food were both amazing. Our server Georgie was especially amazing making sure we received the best experience possible. I love hoggys oink oink 🐷🐷

Came in for dinner Friday 29th of March, was warmly welcomed by staff and our orders were taken quickly. Our server Matty was wonderful all night, and made sure our experience was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

We had an awesome time with their great service and the meal.
Stake were cooked perfectly that how we ordered.

I visited Hogs Breath Cafe in Southport with my young son and we really enjoyed it. The food was lovely and the service was fantastic. A big shout out to Georgie who made a big effort with my son and went and above and beyond!

Fantastic food and service. The prime rib was delicious, and my wife loved her burger. The kids meals were great value and were enjoyed by both my kids.

Service was awesome and never left waiting on anything. Shame we are only here on holidays as I'd love to come back again.

Great spot for kids/families and not as expensive as I have started to expect in recent times.

Will be going back before we leave for sure, the staff were super friendly (and funny) and made sure we had everything we needed, food was great, came timely and we had an awesome sunset to look at when we left. Breathtaking as Keanu Reaves would say.

Hog's Breath Cafe is a fantastic place for prime steak 🥩 anytime everytime 😁 mudslides are pretty damn good also but not as good as caramel obsessions in Toowoomba 🍹🍹

When I visited a few days ago, Haidy, a young, lovely woman, served me. She was really kind and helpful in assisting me in selecting what delicious food to get! Much appreciated, Hogs!!

Thank you to Georgia at Hogs Breath Marina Mirage, she made my uncles and mum’s birthday so special! She went above and beyond and was so kind, attentive and professional.

I went in with very low standards, to be honest I didn't think I was actually going to go, but we gave in to the joke and bit the bullet. BOY I was not upset with my decision. The place is a southern American themed steakhouse, with heavy wood adorning everything, an old gas pump and stained glass decorations. 80's and 90's rock tunes play on the sound system, with Roll On by The Living End as a personal highlight from the evening. Commitment to the theme was impressive and got me in the mood for a munchin. The food was reasonably priced, cheap in fact, but that didn't affect the QUALITY of taste. The big pig chefs sure know how to handle the grill, and handle it well they did. I enjoyed a BBQ fried chicken burger, which had a great amount of sweet sauce and well wet but not swimming coleslaw. It came with CURLY FRIES!! You can't get this back home in Melbourne at any regular cafe. Spirits start at $8.50 and you can get a 250ml wine for $14.59. so cheap! The staff were very lovely and oh so speedy. Now how about we talk about the merch... The oddest pricing but I'm here for it. I got 2 metal straws with hog branding for $1.30 each, and a stubby holder for $6.30. buckets hats came in at 12 and mini pink mascot soft toys were 16. But DIY tie die kits were about 50. Anyway, I'm a cheapskate so the staws and stubby holders did me fine. I'm here for another 4 days and the chances of a return trip are high. Thanks Hog's Breath, I love you. 5 stars.

We are frequently dinners and always love the Prime Steak. Shout-out to Gorgie at Main Beach Hog's Breath Cafe. She is so friendly and intertaining staff and always look after our orders.

A tourist review. This is nearby about 2km away from Sea World Resort, and judging from the Sunday dinner crowd, a family restaurant (not for diners who want quiet).
My wife and I didn't mind the noise; adds to the warmth of the place.

After a slight awkward delay of being ignored out in front waiting for table, service then on from two friendly gentlemen was very good.

The slow cooked lamb was almost melt in the mouth, juicy, tasty and succulent. I wish I had ordered the mash to soak up the delicious sauce.👍👍👍👍👍
The 4 pines pale ale was refreshingly light, fruity and fresh; paired well to balance the heaviness of the lamb.
The wifey had the lite fillet mushroom and the beef was so tender and tasty. 👍👍👍👍👍
Don't miss the Mississippi Mud Cake 😋😋😋😋😋, which you can drench in chocolate sauce. Not too sweet..just nice balanced with vannila ice cream and tartness of jam on the side.
Full meal with drinks and dessert was about $40/person.

Had a lovely night at Hog's Breath, Marta was such a lovely server, she was so attentive to us and helped us with all of our requests with so much positivity, we would go back just for her!

Amazing meal, staff were polite and friendly. Georgie was outstanding. We will be back, very impressed.

I ❤ the hog's breath Cafe main beach the service is always friendly food is very mouth watering and sctrumbshious food 😋 always leave totally satisfied 100% love the friendly guys as well I ducked into a hog's breath a couple off weeks ago the young lady that served me had previously served me from the main beach and she new exactly how I had my meal even down to the unopened ginger beer I was super impressed with these incredable legend keep up the amazing service guys ya killing it wao

Even though the steak wasn’t exactly perfect, Jess the manager was so understandable and lovely. This is how all managers should treat customers . Nice place to eat however there is a slight bad smell for some reason …

food was incredible, staff were very friendly everything came out quick. definitely recommend it was amazing. i love hoggies
