Macquarie Arms Hotel

My sister and I called in on a Tuesday. She ordered the pot pie, and I ordered the grilled veg stack with Halloumi . Both were amazing. Presentation was awesome.
Bar staff were helpful and friendly. By the looks it would be an amazing atmosphere on the weekend. Would highly recommend a visit.

This is an awesome old school pub. The smell, the atmosphere. Very cool place. Staff were awesome, food is good and the beers are well priced.

The place has friendly and polite staff, very delicious and perfectly cooked food, the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing with furniture that was perfect but one negative is that If you are taller than 170 then some places would make you bend like when having to go under arches. There were also no seats behind the bar where the parking slot was.

Amazing old heritage pub said to be Australia's oldest although about 5 other pubs lay that claim also. Nonetheless it's got various areas to eat and drink both inside and out. I recommend a seat in the front window at street level. Awesome friendly bar staff aswell. Looking forward to returning.

Great place for a beer. We sat outside, great view. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. 👍

Loved this Pub and the kids did too, the food was great, (it’s a memorable burger :) )and not boring and overpriced like I’m seeing at inner city places now. The portions were large and prices very realistic too. Good choice of beers. The staff are pretty cool too, very friendly and helpful.
There’s lots of room and the old school upstairs balconies are my choice.

Old fashioned pub with great food, friendly staff. Where else can you get a tender steak for $17?

Great experience my father did a gig at this place at the time of writing this it just finish and I can say the people are nice and service is nice aswell
Food is good and taste great

One of my most favourite places to hangout and eat. The hotel bistro survives delicious food. It's warm and cozy and love listening to the bands during weekends. I will sure come here again with my friends and family 😁❤

On Tuesday evening, after a thunderstorm, the heat and dust was washed away. I was seeking a quiet place to stay alone with a cup of beer. I stepped in, went upstairs, sit in the front balcony. The mild night breeze, the cool Cooper beer, no one else in the balcony, it’s so relaxing, ...... simply can’t find a better place than this.

Just a classic Aussie pub. Awesome pub meals that are cheap and come as large portions. The decor is old yet strangely, it doesn't feel outdated. The restroom facilities are also spotless, very impressed. Also, every Sunday there's a spectacular band that plays live music.

Wonderful old purpose built pub from 1815. A real step back in time. Lots of old rooms with fireplaces you could sit in. It’s something very special to visit. Our food was amazing as well. We really enjoyed the experience. A must visit in Windsor even if you go in for a drink.
