Great bushcamping site. Facilities: Flushing toilets, town water. Outside cold water beach shower. Mobile phone reception. A couple of picnic tables, barbecue and waste bins. Not very far from town. Great, isolated beach with interesting rocks to clamber on. Lovely forested area. Nice foreshore walking trails. Dogs permitted on leads.
Bring bug repellent! Bring vinegar in case of stingers in sea.
Book online, however there is an issue with people camping who haven't booked as bookings aren't by allocated site, you unfortunately need to be here earlish to secure your booking.
Will come again!

Beautiful campsite right next to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Basic facilities with toilets and an outdoor shower, but that's all you need!

This is a great lookout just to left of Workmans Beach camping area. You can walk down to the top of the cliff but be warned there is no fence. We were here February 2021 and the camping area was closed.

Nice walks through the park, beautiful views, lulled to sleep at night by the gentle crashing of the waves on the shore, highly recommend this place. Thanks to Ross Australia looks good to the backpackers, with his professional out look on our beautiful country.

Best Camp area! So close to town but you feel like you are miles away.
2 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to a lookout. Plenty of camping spots, outdoor shower, flushable toilets and gas BBQs.
Dogs allowed on leash.

Just reopened. 38 site campsite. Fcfs. Book online before. Variety of sites. Some would suit the biggest of caravans, some more suited to tents or trailers.
Beach access, flush toilets, outdoor showers, bbqs and friendly rangers/staff. Get in early

A cheap and legit campsite! Nine bucks a nite. Be aware of mosquitos.

The ranger on site said the place usually books up through out the year, and while we were there, only a few spots were free. Toilet block has two flushing toilets and an accessible toilet. Outside beach-style shower. Camp sites each have decent space. Easy 200m sloped walk to one of the beaches. Nice quiet spot.

Ranger Kieth was fantastic, really helpful

This is a wonderful little spot to camp and explore the surrounding areas. The beach is just amazing. It's a great spot for swimming and snorkeling and fishing. It's not as busy as the other camping sites in the area and it's dog friendly. The layout makes it feel like your in the bush without hoards of other campers!

The campground is awesome! The Ranger is very kind and will help you with everything! Also he will tell you something about the best spots there !
The beach is ok, but Agnes is better. And it's just a short walk, about 15 min. from the campground to Agnes beach.
The campground is quite big, but it's busy on the weekend. And you can stay with up to 8 person's in one place. There is just one cold, outside shower. The toilets are pretty good and there are barbecues as well.
