I have stayed at many a hostel throughout my travels. This one has by far got to be one of the best I have ever been to. Bounce does such a terrific job of making a solo traveler feel welcome and included. The rooms were clean with cool air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay here and prefer it to any of the other hostels in Cairns.

Unbelievable stay at bounce. Firstly, free breakfast? Yes please! Wasn’t just toast either, they had multiple options including yoghurt, beans and pancakes.

The reception staff could not do enough to accommodate me during my stay. A credit to the team.

Finally, rooms get cleaned every morning which is great to see from a hostel.

Loved it here! The staff is great and the location is awesome! They have a bar where you can easily make new friends. The rooms are really nice for a hostel, totally love the whole place and vibe! Will definitely come back when I'm in Cairns again.

Great social Hostel to have fun and meet people. I really Enjoyed the free breakfast and free barbecue. Plus it was fun to participate in the evening games and tournaments and Enjoy the pool during the Sunny hot days.
And on top of everything location is eccellent. It is near the main mall, supermarkets, weekend markets, the esplanade and the lagoon!

Hands down the best hostel in Cairns, I've been to the mad monkeys, to the global, to the Jack backpackers, and I visited some friends in their hostels. No one has better rooms, better vibe, the pool is nice, the bar and it's very easy to make friends.

Amazing place !, the rooms are super comfortable, spacious and clean, the staff is incredible and it is worth mentioning how big this place is!, many spaces to share and make friends, including every night events for the bar and the pool area ! Loved it from day one!

It's the best hostel I've been to. It's very social and always something going on. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are clean and the staff is also amazing.

One of my favourite hostels. The beds are the most comfortable in comparison to any other hostel and great vibes there. Despite having a bar and heaps of people there, I barley could hear anything in the room.

It is honestly the best hostel I stayed in.
The pool and the common area make it so easy to find new people. The bar area is just insanely good!
There’s a housekeeping team that cleans your room everyday and which also keeps all common areas clean 24/7. There is a travel desk just next to reception, you can book the best experiences there.
Amazing and helpful Staff they are all Legends.
Will come back to this one every time I come to cairns

stayed here for a few weeks in long term accommodation everything was perfect not one issue keysen the manager was fantastic any questions i had he always did his best to help or even just a general chat great manager and great person. the rest of the staff sophie ben honae ricarda the gordie 😂😂 were simply amazing well recommend if your coming to cairns will be back for a few beers love from sean 🇮🇪

Best hostel in Cairns! Hard to fault my stay at Bounce, the rooms were nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the events at the bar every night were good fun and a great way to meet people. It attracts a good mix of long term people and short term travellers so you meet lots of people, and the free pancakes at breakfast and free weekly bbq were a really nice addition! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Cairns and would always recommend Bounce to anyone visiting :)

Bounce is hands down my favourite Hostel of the East Coast! The bar has a great vibe every night with lots of activities throughout the week to get involved in, but the music and bar ends at 12 so you can still get a good nights sleep (or continue the night elsewhere!). The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday and the staff are super friendly and fun making it an all round great vibe for when you’re backpacking or settling for a bit in Cairns - would definitely reccommend!

Bounce is by far the best hostel I’ve stayed in on the East Coast. The bar and communal area is very social with ping pong tables and a pool table. The staff are very helpful and organise events/activities every day/night of the week to create a good atmosphere and include all guests.

I’ve stayed at this hostel a few times during my travels and it’s by far my favourite hostel, great vibe and atmosphere great people. Pool table, ping pong table, fun games and events every night. The rooms are clean, the common areas are great and it’s always fun to take a dip in the pool!

Staff are super helpful and friendly, it’s in a great location and I would recommend any traveller/backpacker to stay at Bounce!

Everything you need from a social hostel. Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff. Great facilities. Loved the pool. The bar and drinks were by far the cheapest in Cairns and I made so many friends whilst staying here. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly hostel where you meet so many people - I would recommend this hostel. Thanks for the great stay!

Solo traveler from the uk and bounce is the place to stay!! With a super friendly atmosphere, a bar, pool table, table tennis, a pool, a large kitchen a storage spaces for food, a tv area, lots of seating areas, laundry facilities, the list goes on! I’ve loved my stay at bounce and this will be my place to stay again whenever I visit cairns. Thank you to the team at bounce for making my stay so enjoyable!
