Tim The Toyman

I'm 37 no kids. I got some TiM THE TOYMAN toys from the Petrol Station ⛽ they are super fun and a great Price. Thank-you heaps.😎🫶🏼

The website claims, "Since 1935 Tim The Toyman has been providing kids of all ages with quality toys at quality prices."

The reality is that their products are cheaply manufactured, low quality/flimsy and overpriced. There's nothing unique or noteworthy about anything in the range. It actually looks like the stuff you'd see hanging on the wall of the toy section in a $2 shop.

Tim The Toyman is stocked by my local IGA and my son pesters me for items from the range every time we go to the store. Without fail, every single item I've bought has not been close to being value for money. From items that are faulty right out of the box, to products that do not do what they're designed to do, right through to items that only last a day or two.... it's all been disappointing.

Take the latest item for example. $10 for a chunk of plaster containing 5 small pieces of plastic. All these pieces would fit comfortably in the palm of my hand. The plaster was so rigid that my 6 year old son was unable to chisel through using the completely inadequate tool supplied with the kit. I'm not a small guy and I struggled.

Look at the picture on the box and tell me that it was representative of what was inside the plaster. My son said, "where's the rest of the dinosaur Dad?"

VERY cheap toys out of china that cost lest than a dollar and selling for $10 total rip off.
Your better off buying toys from target or kmart cause they last much longer than the toys from tim the toyman.
