12 Apostles Cottages

This was like heaven on earth for my daughter and I. We were wrapping up an almost two month trip adventuring around Australia and staying here was such a treat. Kathy was so accommodating to my date change too. I definitely recommend the 12 Apostles Cottages if you are taking a drive down the beautiful Great Ocean Road. Even if you just are looking for a little get away.

Beautiful place. We stayed for a night and it has everything you need. A lot of little details that make your stay convenient. Car can be parked just outside of the cottage. Really tidy and clean, shower a bit low, but on the other side I am quite tall. Beautiful view into the countryside. Overall everything a bit older, but functional and clean and well maintained.

Very cute a cozy farm cottage with everything provided for a lovely stay. The beds are comfortable.

There's a goat who greets you by your car. Sometimes the goat is very insistent about getting petted.

What a gem! I was looking for a starting point for our GOR adventure as Apollo Bay didn’t feel close enough what with all of the nature walks between Apollo and 12 Apostles, so I went hunting for some accomodation somewhere between Joanna and Princetown. When I found this listing it seemed like the perfect place to unwind before a big day of sight seeing… and I was right.
Upon arrival it was as though I’d stepped into my dream country holiday home. We were greeted by chickens, and goats, and cows over the fence. And what a spectacular outlook for the entire cottage, directly overlooking the farm and straight out to the hills all the way to the sea on the horizon. Gorgeous.
We made use of the exceptionally well equipped kitchenette, not to mention their ample DVD collection!
The shower was hot with good pressure (though a bit short for my partner and I).
Parking was directly in front of the cottage, couldn’t have been easier to access.
We also loved the bedding, had a great sleep.
Would stay again in a heart beat, I sincerely we lived closer and could make this a regular long weekend getaway.

Oh, and checkin couldn’t have been easier. Contactless and completely secure as it was so far off a trafficked path (because it’s not amongst a town like so many other stays for this pricing!!!).

Right from the start Kathy was amamzing, communication was brillant leading up to visit.
We stayed 5 blissful days in the Farm house, the veiws are spectacular, especially that morning sunrise, seeing the ocean as well from the kitchen table and front deck aaahhh.
The rooms were great sized, the teens, said their beds were comfy.
Main room- bed was a good night sleep.
Bathroom- shower pressure is great and brilliant heat.
Kitchen - was so good, opening up cupboards and everything is at your hand, pots, pan's, cutlery, ect.
Lounge- not that we stayed inside alot, but little two loved the books and lego and movie selection.

Thankyou Kathy for making our stay brillant, all four children LOVED the goats especially Blue and the chicken's .

Just spent the one night at the wonderful 12 Apostle Cottages, but it such a lovely spot, with everything you might need for a relaxing self catered break. Would love to head back for a longer stay. Thanks Kathy, what a great place!

Amazing scenery and welcoming stay! Strong heater and aircon (hot air) for the really cold weather. Wished that We could’ve spent a longer time here or reached earlier in the day.

Location is right next to highway so it’s convenient and accessible. Very near twelve apostles and lookouts.

We planned on staying just one night but ended up there for two. Great location for the apostles and other attractions along the great ocean road. Kitchenette with everything you need. Get food from near by towns before arrival. Amazing views and the kids loved the games and movies they had in the room. Games room a bit neglected and front had issues none of this dampened the stay.

Check in instruction was clear from booking.com and subsequent email notification. Spent two nights at the farm house early Mar. Spacious for 2 pax I think it would be very nice with a crowd of 4 to 6 to barbeque at night. It's a convenient location (with car of course) to visit nearby attractions. When the night was clear, it would be full of stars, Milky way was just right in front for us to stargaze at the verandah.

Great location right next to the 12 apostles, Kathy has really helped me with the entire booking and check-in process. The cottage is quite comfy for 3/4 pax and well equipped for the current cold weather.

Such a great place to enjoy your stay at the great Ocean road/twelve apostles. The goats (Buddy and Blue), the chickens, the calves and birds kept us company through our stay.

The ideal accommodation for traveling to the Great Ocean Road can be reached easily and not far away. But suggest having a private car Because there are no bus services The house has equipment for cooking. Suitable for socializing as a family or group The overall atmosphere is beautiful and quiet. There are cows and sheep in the area. If lucky, you might see a kangaroo too.

Stayed overnight at Woop Woop cottage. Quiet, clean, comfortable,picturesque, private & residence goats, cows & chooks in the fields. Basic essentials all provided from chopping boards to cooking oil! Kathy is very prompt with replying to messages. 12 Apostles 10 mins drive from property. Will definitely come back again.

Loved the little "Woop Woop" cottage. Magnificent views from the verandah. Cottage had everything one needs. It's basic but comfortable - even a stash of DVD's and some kids toys if you have children. Ryan was extremely helpful when I got lost on the way and I was left to my own devices once I was there - which is exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely be returning!

Great value for money, setting was really lovely and there was even some beach views too if you have good eyesight. Short drive to the apostles and Port Campbell, there were even some DVD's and books as well to suit many tastes which was a nice touch.

Comfortable and cosy. Stunning scenery. The goats are so gentle and adorable. Bird life is glorious. Kathy is very friendly and down to earth.

Great value accommodation close to the best known sights on the Great Ocean Road. Stayed in the farmhouse which was very spacious and comfortable. Sheep and chickens outside the door and the Chill shed is a great idea.

Everything you could possibly need with a beautiful view. We enjoyed a BBQ on the back porch after an afternoon exploring the walking paths of the Loch Ard Gorge.

This was the most amazing little cottage I've been too. They had everything you needed. And the staff super kind. I will be coming back and will be recommending this place to everyone that wants to see the apostles.
