Lake Anderson Caravan Park

Wow!!! This is a REALLY nice caravan park. Hubby and I only stayed 1 night but management looked after us like royalty.
The facilities are IMMACULATE and the firepit area is very inviting. We’re looking forward to returning for a longer term stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We spent 6 nights over Easter 2024 and absolutely loved it. Very clean amenities, fun gatherings and fantastic hosts. We even accidentally left cups in the camp kitchen that were picked up by cleaning staff then passed onto family that stayed an extra night.
The lawn bowls was so much fun and staff were fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Super friendly hosts. Bathroom and camp kitchen are kept clean and tidy. Lake Anderson is beautiful. Short walk to town. Can’t fault anything really. Would recommend. Oh there was food stalls and communal fire pit both nights I stayed. And wifi too although signal strength depends on where you are.

My husband and I stayed in unpowered site for 3 nights (for Off Grid Festival), Had a lovely time. The bus to the festival was appreciated. Especially loved the fire pit and 5 pm drinks (it created a great atmosphere). Very friendly owners who made everyone feel very welcome. We were made to feel part of the community and would like to come back and explore more.

I had been recommended to come here by friends who often visit. It lived up to everything they told us. It is clean and well organised in the heart of a pretty little heritage town, full of friendly helpful, locals which has a lot of interesting things in and around it to do, it is not far from some of the major towns in the area. Situated next to a lake, it is a quiet, restful place to unwind.
Tye and Ester, the owners, know their stuff and it shows. Everything is well organised and they are extremely good at running this park, their experience is evident. They are friendly and obliging. We will be back!

What a hidden little gem in the middle of a beautiful old country town. Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, plenty of room for big rig parking for powered or non powered, awesome communal kitchen and fire pit area and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean making the overall experience very pleasant. Very close walk to the Main Street. Can highly recommend staying here!

Stayed there in my own tent over the weekend just finished. Hosts are very friendly, price for the unpowered site was good, the get together around the firepit was a great way to spend some time in the evening. I've stayed in numerous caravan parks over the years, and this one is well worth a stay. Highly recommended. There is plenty around the town and surrounds to enjoy too: history, bird watching, hiking, cycling, etc.

A delightful stay in a safe and beautiful setting. Lake Anderson caravan park is set in picturesque surrounds and is right in the middle of town, a short and peaceful walk to the Main Street past many gorgeous period properties. Owners Ty and Esther are the ultimate hosts - warm, down to earth and accomodating. They are super responsive across all forms of communication. The amenities are clean and extremely well kept. The park has clearly had quite a bit of money spent on it. I have already recommended this park to my caravanning parents and will be sure to come back myself in the future.

Great place to stay. Ty and Ester go above and beyond.. firepit fires up a few times a week,great place to meet fellow like minded travellers.. Showers and Toilets are clean,easy walking distance to town or any odd and ends you may need. You can swap your lpg bottles and ice is available... hosts also keep you updated on any weather warnings applicable to the area.. With the local pool at the front doorstep,plenty shade and some great wineries within easy driving distance,it's got the lot and it's pet friendly..
So it's a big thanks and we will be back👌👍👍

The cleanest caravan park ever, cleaner than my own bathroom at home! And friendly hosts and people. Quiet, spacious despite being quite a big site. Thank you!

What a true hidden gem. This lovely caravan park was ideal for our 4 day getaway.
The park is immaculate and the newly renovated amenities is absolutely beautiful. Best set up I've seen, including piped music.
Our host Ty was extremely friendly and even sent out a text message to invite all guests to the firepit area for happy hour. A lovely touch and a pleasant evening was had by all.
Loved our stay and looking forward to going back. 😊 😊 😊 😊

We had caravan sites and friends had a cabin. It’s a great little park . Very neat and VERY clean. Cabins were really well equipped and had lots of extra touches. Caravan site had lawn, shade and concrete slab.. Amenities clean and well equiped… walking distance to town …Hosts Ty and Ester very friendly, informative and helpful…would definately stay here again and we will. 😀

We spent a very enjoyable 4 days at the park early January, it’s close enough to all the attractions the nth east has to offer for day trips.Nice quite location and well maintained truly a credit to Ester and Ty.
Will defiantly be back

Stayed in a lovely cosy Pod. Super comfortable bed, Very clean. Would definitely return and stay longer. Beautiful lake and ducks.

We recently stayed at the park over a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Ty & Esther are welcoming hosts, happy to help their guests when needed and, because of this, the park had a very relaxed and friendly vibe. The sites were shady and the majority were drive-thru sites which helped make the arrival and setup so much easier. The amenities were clean and well-maintained. The park is right beside not only the beautiful lake with its walking track but also the footy ground, which made for lots of easy options to exercise dogs (or maybe kids?!😁). Would 100% recommend staying at Lake Anderson Caravan Park and would happily go back for another visit😍

The welcome and cleanliness of this beautiful park is outstanding. The location overlooking Lake Anderson is very tranquil. The accommodation clean, neat and well maintained. The staff are genuinely friendly, wonderfully helpful, and delightfully welcoming. I LOVE the cute little pods !!! Chiltern is an amazing town of varied and interesting historical architecture, intimate & quality shopping - located only minutes walk away from the Caravan Park.
Well done !!! and I look forward to returning soon 😊

Wonderful park and people (Hi Ty & Esther). We have been staying for overnighters for quite while on the way to Canberra. Decided to stay a bit longer on this trip. We were out the back on the grassed power sites looking over the Lake and it was even more wonderful. Already the best amenities block in Australia and then they went and did it up! Looking forward to more and even longer stops. David & Aileen (ps. Chiltern is worth a vist just for itself and you know where you should stay!)

A great little caravan park. Friendly and helpful owners, modern and clean amenities and a good sized, clean and workable camp kitchen. The free supply of kitchen paper to help keep the bbqs clean was an added bonus.
We'll certainly be back.
