We received caring service from wonderful staff that put themselves out to please also thank you to Management for having a wonderful crew

Nursing staff and Doctors were great. I have no complaints. It was my first time at Portland District Health and was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the staff thank you Portland District Health

I had UTI serious symptoms with breeding. I called this hospital and the receptionist lady told me to go there urgently. For my first experience, this place has very good and fast services from receptionist, nurses and the doctor. They are helpful and friendly. I'm impressed

Visiting Portland yesterday l had Asthma attack the cre from Dr and staff was out standing.

My husband Steve was in for knee replacement this week we would like to say how great the staff were leading to the operation and knew there stuff the surgeon and his team did a fantastic job the ward staff did a great job caring for Steve and the physio crew were great too I have to go back in 8 weeks for the second knee thank you all the staff for a job well done looking forward to getting the second knee replacement. Had second knee done now once again fantastic job done by surgeon Mr Arogundade the staff in North ward were outstanding and great job again by the physio team thank you all so much great respect for the Portland Hospital and the work they do

Absolutely brilliant hospital. Shout outs to nurses Hayley, Lynn & Donna who looked after me magnificently after my shoulder surgery on Friday 8 July and during post-op on Saturday 9 July.

My husband and I have had a variety of contacts with Portland Hospital. We have, almost without exception, found staff helpful, the atmosphere pleasant and welcoming, and the caring attitudes appearing quite warm and genuine. I did have one criticism, which I wrote to the hospital about and which was promptly dealt with, and followed up with a letter in return. Something in stark contrast with many of our experiences in hospitals and other medical facilities, both interstate and overseas, is how spontaneous and widespread the smiles and greetings are as you pass by staff in the buildings and grounds. This is not to forget the quality of care provided to us both as elderly patients which, as a retired health professional, I rate as being as good as anywhere, and better than much we have received in other places.

Thank you to all the staff at ER and xrays. Visited on 25/11/21.All were kind,helpful and professional. Very clean too,thank you.🙏🤗🏖

I see the odd negative reviews about this hospital, but honestly, I dont understand why. For me, and believe me, I been around many hospitals, this place is right up there with the best. I mean I visit the Sandringham hospital 38 years ago with a broken Fibula (clear 45 degreebreak) and was sent home with 2 panadol. Was told if it was broken, I would show more pain. Now I would understand being negative with them right? Well no such BS with Portland hospital... everything was done professionally with great precission as Dr Adrian set about putting my right hand and forearm back together that was attacked by an aeroplane propller. Not pretty. He did an excellent job in a very difficult situation. Tanx doc... you da man. And nurses... wow, the young dark hair (forget name sowwy) did such a great job on the bandages. Love all you guys and wont hesitate to return if need be, because in this situation, they left no stone unturned. Please, dont change anything (smile).

I thought everyone was professional, efficient, and kind. From the receptionist to all the doctors. The best regional hospital I have been to.

Ten out of ten for the Portland Hospital nothing but respect to staff who go beyond for patients and the cleaning staff 10/10 too. If your sick this is the place to be,
