Posh Plonk on Main

We had a terrific brunch here. It gets busy, so do book, especially if you want to sit in a pod at the back (very fun). I asked for a gluten free variation, and as well as swapping my bread, they swapped the crunchy pangrattato for even better dukkah.

I did notice an oat muesli described as gluten free, which is not strictly right, so order thoughtfully.

The owners and staff are absolutely lovely. Fantasic outdoor area to relax in and the chief really knows his stuff. The pizzas are by far the best I've ever had. Highly recommend trying the pizzas, especially if there's one available on the special board.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with warm and welcoming smiles from owners Jess and Michael.
The food exceeded all expectations and was the best lunch we have had in a long time. The ingredients were so fresh and so tasty.
We also did a wine tasting and every wine was really very good. Michael was so knowledgeable about each of the wines.
The whole experience was excellent. I would give Posh Plonk more than 5/5 if I could.

Great little find in Chiltern. We only had Ice Coffees but friendly staff, great vibe & loved the whole set-up both inside & especially the Pods out the back. We will be back for a meal soon.

Great food. I honestly think it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had out. So fresh and full of flavour. Vegetarian friendly.
I had the Smashed Avo and my friend had the big breakfast. We were both very happy.
Even though breakfast ended 20 minutes earlier we ordered quickly and they were able to accommodate. Much appreciated.
They use local produce. Service was friendly and professional. Five star all around. I’d detour just to go eat there again I’d in the local area or on my way to and from Melbourne.
Toilets were clean.

We were so happy to discover Posh Plonk on our recent road trip. We stopped off in Chiltern and discovered this little gem. The staff were extremely friendly and the meal delish. I highly recommend the restaurant for that special gourmet experience.

The smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs was absolutely perfect and incredibly tasty ! The herbed breadcrumbs really tied the dish together! Chai latte is also a winner. Great staff, service and atmosphere at Plosh Plonk!

The cellar door tasting experience was brilliant, and the staff were so accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. What an incredible little place, absolutely 100% recommend!

A lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon - delicious pizzas and great wine. We enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast the next morning.

Amazing! Delicious food, friendly service. The panzenella salad with the wine tasting was perfect for the late afternoon. Also came for breakfast the next day, lovely breakfast as well!

Nestled in the small historic gold rush era town of Chiltern is this Wonderful restaurant that we had brunch in. It has plenty of sitting space both inside and out and can host large groups/events. The service we were accorded on this occasion was excellent and the breakfast was equally sumptuous.it offers a fantastic base for exploring nearby towns such as Rutherglen,How long,Corowa,Wodonga and even Beechworth. I would highly recommend.

Great family lunch and terrific food today. Very accommodating for kids which was great. Had a larger group (10 inc 4x kids under 8 y.o.) and were seen to very well. Saw some smaller tables nearby get given some more in depth info about their wines - (they had more time to listen than we did!)

I would move to this town for this cafe! The service was excellent and the food even better. The pulled lamb pizza was Devine and the sourdough bases they have here are about the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was so seren and such a lovely setting.
Can’t wait to return!

Easiest 5 stars!

Been to many wineries over the years and loved the different experiences BUT Posh Plonk provided the most intimate and "posh" experience out of them all.
The cheese platter was just spectacular and reach; the fruit platter were just as good (kids had 2 of them) and the wines were spectacular too. I personally loved the Durif while my wife enjoyed the rose and pino grigio. As a result we walked away with few bottles.
Lastly, I would like to thank the hosts for their attentive service in a pictoresc setting. THANK YOU!

The service was amazing. The people so friendly and helpful. The kids were playing in the sun and they even brought out sunscreen just in case. Food was good, pizza was very nice

Greeted by Michael who was very welcoming, gave us a choice of inside or outside dining .Beautiful morning sat outside in peaceful atmosphere in pod enjoying a scrumptious Brekky of Chilli scramble and Posh Brekky.using local ingredients and great coffee.Service was excellent able to accommodate my dietary requirements as requested.
