Our first visit since the reopening. Dean & Sandy made us feel so welcome & it was great to see the fire in all its splendour once again. Sandy offered to take family photos which was greatly appreciated.
The food was excellent. The squid was cooked superbly & the well done steaks ordered were exactly as requested.
Well done & we will definitely be back on a regular basis 😁

Absolutely delightful experience at Dunalley Hotel! The seafood chowder was exceptional (Understatement) - a true delight for seafood enthusiasts. The overall food quality and service were top-notch, leaving me thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing dining experience! Thanks Dean, Danny, and Connie!

Had lunch on our way to port Arthur..
Chicken snitzel was melt in your mouth stuff! Lightly crumbed and really juicy.
Braised pie was awesome. Just needed more mushy peas. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic pub! Friendly and fun. Food delicious and great price. We started in the paddock next door in the van for 4 nights. Highly recommend

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time! I ordered a side of gravy for dipping and it was very generous! My partner got a chicken shnitty bigger than his hand. We finished with two rounds of pool and a little walk to view the beach nearby. Next time I want to camp in the lot next door (one comment here said it was donation based). Staff instantly made us feel welcomed. I've always wanted to come here, but they recently closed for renovations so I thought they were closed for good! So glad I double checked. Definitely coming back soon ✨

Campsite behind is extremely convenient. Inside the pub there is a warm fire and great music. Tobias was very welcoming and informative. I came back the next day for a pub lunch. The chicken parmigiana was next level amazing and Sandy was very friendly!

The four of us had a lovely time and enjoyed our yummy food.
The new owners and staff were very nice and the upgrades they have done have given the place a lovely warm, friendly atmosphere.
Best Seafood Chowder and battered fish and chips (Schnapper) and Crispy Pork Belly melted in your mouth.
We had steak last time and it was cooked beautifully. Highly recommend you go and have a meal here.

Pub meals are deliciously cooked and generous in size. if you are visiting Tasman Peninsula make sure you try out the menu. We were blown away by the seafood platters, so generous and cooked to perfection. We have booked a table for next week to enjoy them again! highly recommend

Although we did not eat, nor did we stay, we asked about staying at the spot campsite next door. They were very helpful and gave us information about the area as well. The staff was very straightforward and friendly.
We were late for the food, but the prices were unbelievably cheap for how big and well presented the dishes looked. We would definitely go again.

We had a lovely family meal at the Dunalley Hotel.

It's spacious and open and has a friendly atmosphere.

The kids meals are really good value for money and the bonus was being offered extra tomato sauce!

The adult meals we had were also very tasty and reasonably priced.

The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long either.

There were some nice colouring pages and a good selection of pencils for the kids to use while we waited which was a lovely family friendly touch.

I’m a local and I’m so pleased to see my local pub improve out of sight. The dining room is fresh, clean and inviting. The food is delicious with such a variety, including vegetarian. I love the music on weekends. Dean and the crew are so friendly and welcoming. A special shout out to Sandy, a wonderful asset to the Dunalley Hotel. 10 out of 10!!! 😀

What a hidden gem! Fantastic little gorgeous pub - great entertainment, great friendly service, the seafood platter was to die for! And there’s a free camp for self contained vehicles on site - a great find!

This is one of THE BEST seafood chowders I have ever had. If you’re ever in the area stop in and order a meal. My partner had the Thai red chicken curry and said it was absolutely delicious 👍

5 of us went to Dunalley Pub for a birthday lunch after a long absence and was pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome by new management and staff. Dean made us welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and spent time chatting about the changes to the pub. Anitra was most hospitable behind the bar re drinks and taking our orders. We didn't wait too long for our meals and thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. My Chicken Parma was one of the best I have had, with fresh cooked chips and a generous fresh mixed salad. Dean and Anitra were most attentive and compliments to the chef for a great meal. The dessert was yummy and the whole experience was enjoyed and will start going back more often. Cheers, Andrea

I had the seafood chowder today and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. Everything is caught locally, every ingredient was fresh and beautifully cooked. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and professional without the kind of training teens have to endure at a franchise. It’s in a gorgeous location and not far from Hobart so add this gem to your next day trip to the country and enjoy. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dunally Hotel.

Stopped in on way back from Port Arthur and wished we could visit again. Staff friendly, food menu recently changed and great to sample. Between oysters, seafood shower, chicken parma and pork belly all 4 of us were very happy with our meals. Would love to visit again.

Our visit to this pub was fantastic! Dean (I’m 99% sure his name was?), our server, went to great measures to ensure we had a fantastic experience. His friendly demeanour and helpful attitude was definitely to be noted.

The food was exceptional and we couldn't believe the value for money we received considering the generous portions! It's been a while since we have had such a satisfying pub meal, and this one will certainly be hard to beat.

We camped at the field next door which was awesome too, it was great to be able to dine somewhere such a short walk away.

The only thing that could be improved is having some vegetarian options - my partner is majority vegetarian but does eat fish from time to time so he opted for the fish and chips (which were so fresh and amazing) but having a menu that caters to more dietary requirements would be great.

Overall, I can't recommend this pub enough!
