The Anchor by the Bay

Great place for lunch on a cool and windy Sunday. Welcoming and friendly staff who explained the menu and meal sizes. I'm so glad that another staff member also explained that we didn't have to use the unfriendly QR code system for ordering as we were about to leave before even starting. Believe me you will not leave hungry as the meal servings are very generous. We enjoyed a beef roast complete with vegetables and Yorkshire pudding, sirloin steak with vegetables and blue cheese sauce and the seafood curry. All meals were delicious. Don't forget the Guinness. Try the Anchor I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience.

The best barramundi spring rolls ever! In fact the best spring rolls ever. I don't say this lightly but the fish was soft and tasty in the spring roll and the accompanying dipping sauce was superb! Jane was also a gracious host and really went out of her way to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed.
P.s I had the salt and pepper squid and that was ok... not great and not bad either.

Was there on Sunday for the roast beef lunch and pork ribs. Good food and friendly staff. Realy enjoyable lunch and atmosphere.

This place is golden! Dined there on a Sunday night, even though they ran out of schnitzel, the steaks we settled on were absolutely divine. The Guinness Gravy is some of the best gravy I've ever tasted. Has an amazing ambience and great theming. Staff were amazing as well, shout out to the waitress who served us she was amazing.

The best spot for a beautiful dinner. I have the chicken caesar salad and my partner had a burger. Staff were so good, attentive and friendly. Love that its a full sit down experience, even drinks. My favourite place to go at Raby Bay

Went the previous week to Hogs Breath with my two sons and granddaughter. All meals were absolutely disgusting and will never go back. Went to Anchor this weekend and was the complete opposite. All meals and the service were great and will definitely be going back again

The seafood chowder was amazing! Stacked with a generous amount of succulent seafood in a creamy sauce and served in a cob loaf, could not fault it. My wife was so impressed with the eye fillet sauteed veg and garlic cream sauce, best meal we have had in a long time. Will definitely be back with the whole family.

We absolutely love this place!!!! The service is so friendly and the meals are huge. We visited tonight with a few family members, 1 from Canada and a couple from Sydney. Each of us were extremely happy with the delicious food and awesome service we all received. We’ll be back without a doubt!!

5 of us came tonight for Father's day dinner.
Our booking was misplaced. Certainly no problem for your staff to accommodate us.
Every time we have been so impressed with the staff. Especially Jordan. He is so bubbly and attentive. He genuinely seems to enjoy his job. Thank you.

Absolutely love this place the food and atmosphere is amazing and you just can’t fault the staff for their service.

Had an absolutely awesome dinner and a few beers with friends on the 8/10. The food was amazing, with the Lambs Fry being one of, if not, the best I've ever had. Washed down with some Fuller's, it hit the spot. The standout were Dakota and Bianca, and their awesome attitudes, attentive service and helpfulness. They went above-and-beyond for us and made our night even better. Thanks girls!!

The dishes are delicious and extraordinarily well priced. We take our 14 year old rescue Silky/Jack with us. Fresh water is provided for him and the warm and friendly staff always makes us feel very welcome.
Georgia and Jordan are simply fabulous to deal with. In fact they are a real credit to the owner.
Please do yourself a huge favour and dine here.

The meal I had was delicious, nothing wrong with any of it. Great service from the staff. The cocktails were amazing. Decent prices for the food. Everything was very clean as well. 5 stars from a satisfied customer!

This place has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly , efficient, and helpful. The food is delicious with a good range of options. You couldn’t ask for a better location , overlooking Raby Bay Harbour. Overall a great evening to be had well done guys.

Each and every time we are there, day or night he is there and his service is always outstanding. He goes above and beyond to make sure we’re happy, enjoying our meals and making sure we are having a great time. Absolutely delicious food, great and incredibly friendly service and a very entertaining and nice atmosphere with the televisions and decorations. Never had any problems here, love it for celebrating and good food. 10/10 5 stars, definitely recommend.

Great food and lovely experience every visit to the Anchor. The owner Tanya and all staff including manager Tracey are extremely friendly, helpful and provide great service. The meals are "huge" and well priced. They also do some great specials. We love heading down to have a meal out here with a cheeky pint!

We went to dinner on Friday night with the family. Although it was busy our meals came out in a reasonable time frame and were absolutely amazing.

Big thanks to our waitress Ashleigh (hope that's her correct spelling) she was very friendly and nothing was too much bother.
