Samford District Bowls Club

Volunteers were amazing. One of the ladies spent considerable time helping us learn to play bowls. The volunteers behind the bar were lovely too.

Great club that has really friendly members. Excellent coach gives lessons to new bowlers. Mufti Tuesday afternoon bowls is great for visitors to the area who want to drop in for a friendly game. Greens are carpet and are fully covered so very pleasant playing during the hot summer months.

Played here for first time sincd moving to the area and found everyone to be very friendly and welcoming. I have decided to become a member.

We visited the clubs open day, what a great club. Very impressed by the covered greens, making summer playing far more comfortable.

So, i was riding my 4 year old son on his bike to the local bowls club to enquire if they were open for a bite to eat, when a lady (short grey hair, at the location around 4pm 14/08/23) comes running out, before we could even get off our bikes, starts yelling "you are on private property etc" to us. Just disgusting behaviour and in front of my 4 year old. We simply left. I recommend to the owner/manager to "rehabilitate" and "educate" this staff member asap as not exactly the right way to meet and greet customers.
