I was admitted here for 6 weeks over Christmas 2023 following a dangerous depressive episode, the Doctors and Nurses were absolutely fantastic. I still return weekly for a trauma recovery program and feel so calm once I arrive, the staff and allied health professionals are very committed and patient, highly competent and remarkably resilient. My treatment here has improved my quality of life and helped me to achieve a level of balance and calm I haven’t experienced in many years.

KPU is the best and most comfortable place with good staff, that I have ever been to. They KNOW Servicemen, and that is a big PLUS for anyone needing - or wanting to go there.

Highly recommend kpu for any ex service men or women, this place is nothing but compassion and stability for diggers who have lost their way.

I had one appointment at KPU and from the moment I entered the cramped waiting room I was filled with feelings of disappointment, despair and disgust. With bewilderment, I watched staff enter the hospital area carrying massively fat files. I deduced later that there was minimal effort to digitise the processes of patient management. The specialist I saw admitted he had insufficient knowledge of Army employment and the environment in which that service is provided. He took massive amounts of notes (I don’t recall seeing a computer in his office), many of which were meaningless in the treatment of my depression. I saw ex-soldiers aimlessly wandering about and I felt so very sorry for them. Is this the way we treat people who have served their country so well?

Useless place , rude nurses , too lazy to get off their jack and do anything . Has only compounded my PTSD worse .
