Brisbane Specialist Surgery

Very wise and cautious about the way he proceeds with his patients example: not doing a procedure until he knows you are the correct weight and healthy enough to do said procedure but he is also happy to discuss what procedure is best for you and is great at explaining things , had an issue with one receptionist however telling me and my mother that we needed to give them a referral that was backdated to the date of the consult wich we later found was illegal to even do and no gp would do it so why ask us to do something illegal and get us in trouble??

I have found Dr Barbour to be an amazing Doctor/surgeon.
I was referred to him from my GP at what was a scary time requiring major surgery. Dr Barbour was extremely honest, courteous and very empathetic. He explained everything to me and my wife.
We did our research and found Dr Barbour to be the person we trusted.
I would not hesitate in referring Dr Barbour and feel safe having him as my specialist.

Brilliant Doctor. It's always scary having an operation, but after my consultations with Dr Barbour and doing some research, I honestly had all my concerns dissipate. I have had to have a couple of operations on my stomach which were performed by him and all has gone well. Could not have asked for a better Dr. I can move on to enjoy life to the max.

Very disappointed wanted gastric sleeve done my bmi is morbidly obese and he wouldn't do it. Extremely disappointed I sent an email asking him to reconsider and email was never answered.
