I was recently in Cairns for a holiday and was lucky enough to stumble across this shop nestled in the Cairns Night Markets as we were hungry early afternoon - and it was the best storefront takeaway I’ve had in a very long time! The value for money was great! My partner & I loved the food. Friendly service as well 😊

Healthy? 🤣 Gourmet? 🤔 But... you do get a heaping plate of food at a reasonable price, and some of it is even pretty fancy... like greenlip mussels (not very good, though), fried calamari (skimpy but not bad), and breaded fish (actually quite moist and delicious.)

All you can fit on a plate. 16.50 for the XL plate.
I had sweet and sour pork and honey chicken along with some fried rice. Pieces of food were 95% breading. While it appears like a good value, it’s really not. Threw out half the food as the quality wasn’t that great either.
It’s a decent spot if you don’t care and just want to be full. I wouldn’t call it healthier than any of the neighboring stations. Will skip this spot on future visits

Not healthy, Not gourmet and definitely not grilled. Ordered honey chicken and all I got was honey flavoured donuts. No trace of chicken at all, just dough deep fried covered with honey and soy sauce. For $19 this was a total scam. Do not recommend here at all.

The absolute worst food you can possibly consume. The roast pork had obviously been sitting in the hotbox for an inhuman amount of time and was drier than the Sahara desert in the summertime. Coupled with undercooked vegetables almost to the point of being raw served in the ambience of an overcrowded food court led to an extremely underwhelmimg dining experience. The last pie in the hotbox from the servo down the road was better.

Don't waste your time coming here! They rip you off, and if you've bought something already make sure you calculate it! The narracisstic woman who served me was extremely rude, told me it was $8 for a small chips, then the other server corrected her and said no it's actually $6 and she said oh yes $6. Paid and when I calculated it and told her she overcharged me, she started getting aggressive and raising her voice and kept saying 'you understand, you understand???' Tried to tell her numerous times that she told me that the chips were $6 but she overcharged $7.90 for chips and she wouldn't accept it, raising her voice and making herself right! She told me on the recipet where it says drink $7.90 it was for the chips, but i dont kept denying that she was wrong. Don't make business with Chinese people they are money hungry and the most rude people out there! Couldn't believe it. Purely narracisstic behaviour and disgusting customer service, as a local I will be making sure people don't go there!

I wish I read the reviews saying don't get the sweet and sour pork and honey chicken. Just bland balls of batter. Terrible. Beef and bean was edible.

The rice and noodles are just ok however the sweet and sour pork contains no pork. It's merely batter rolled into balls and deep fried with sauce. To be honest they need to be investigated as it's very dishonest

Don’t get sweet and sour pork or honey chicken. There is no pork or chicken only fried batter and it is very stale.

The honey chicken legitimately was not chicken. I think it was deep fried pancake mix? Who’s idea was that?
