Dr Meta has done two very successful hip operations with me and now my robotic knee replacement. I am so impressed by his medical skills and his wonderful people skills as well. I recovered from the operation really well and am no longer using any kind of cane or crutch. It has been many years since I could walk without one.

Dr Meta preformed a total knee replacement on me two months ago and I couldn't wish for a better result, my new knee is functioning perfectly. I can't speak highly enough of Dr Meta's professional ability as a surgeon along with his kind and understanding manner.We also found his staff to be of a high standard being very patient and extremely helpful throughout. Dr Meta and his team provided the best professional Orthopaedic care offering sound advice and allowing me to make the decision whether major surgery was going to be the best option. I really appreciated this approach because it allowed me to really put a lot of thought into it. Whilst not liking the prospect of surgery, the risks and possible outcomes far outweighed the disadvantages of walking on a painful and unstable knee. I had a left knee replacement just recently actually 9 weeks ago and the greatest and frightening thing to start with was that I was able to get up 2-3 hours post surgery and walk on the knee. It was amazing how I felt with no pain just slight stiffness. 9 weeks later I have a 120-125 degree bend and have no pain and able to walk properly with no limp first time in years. I had right knee replacement done 12 years ago and it was quite traumatic compared to this. The robotic surgery is the way to go and I would recommend this to anyone. I am a 76 year old female who had a personalised Robotic Knee Replacement 12 months ago with Dr Mahindra Meta . I can not speak more highly of Dr Meta and his team of colleagues through to the warm, welcoming reception staff, From Day 1 of the surgery on getting out to shower the first night it felt as though my knee was mine , and I didn't look back . I had no opioids as I don't tolerate them very well and came home 3 days later and just used panamax and ibuprofen which sufficed very well . I maintained the exercises I was instructed to do by physio and 12mths later on my review with Dr Meta it was all in good shape with nothing moved . I’ve been extremely pleased with the ACL reconstruction & meniscus repaired by doctor Meta. Straight from the start he was pleasant to deal with, very approachable person who clearly cares. Even the physiotherapists he recommended are great at what they do. Having had my other knee done a few years ago (with issues after) I had quite a few concerns coming in to this procedure. I’m nearly 8 weeks post surgery. Although the process is difficult It’s been quite seamless and I’m very impressed with the progress. Highly recommend Doctor Meta!
