Cairns Queenslander Hotel & Apartments

Clean rooms serviced daily (except Sunday, which is fine), staff are extremely helpful and lovely. Breakfast is good, continental or cooked both were nice. Pool area's are lovely, quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms a bit dated and not up to much.. room was serviced on first day but today nothing. Very basic room and not close to the town as we thought .. there is a lovely Thai restaurant attached to it, and food is amazing

Room was very large and clean, Plenty of space to sleep, eat and rest. Small kitchen area too that was great with a small dining table. 2 pools, both again very clean and tidy. Staff were so great. On our last day we were able to leave our belongings there while we went on a snorkel tour, on return we had access to shower facilities. Staff help with as much as they possibly can. It is around a 25 minute walk from main Cairns, but it is a great walk along the esplanade or there are bus services.

First time visiting Cairns. I chose this accommodation for the position near the Esplanade and the pricing. The hotel is quite close to some very nice restaurants. The tour buses call to pick up tourists on a regular basis. A great spot if you enjoy walking. The staff were extremely nice. I arrived very early in the morning and was given the opportunity to leave my bags with them until my room was ready. I was also advised that I could either spend my day sightseeing or could laze by the pool. The pool won out as I was tired after the flight. One of the staff came out to tell me my room was ready around 1 pm. The room was spotless and quite spacious complete with a balcony. Great spot for people watching and a coffee. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay, clean rooms, near to Esplanade (2mins walk), very good service. Laundry available, you pay and do your own - 10 dollars for. Load of washing plus drying. Very reasonably charged place. We enjoyed our 4 day stay!!!

Good value for our family stay, friendly and helpful staff willing to do the extra little things for a comfortable stay, we will stay again next time

Everything about this Hotel is perfect, my first observations is always the cleanliness of the room, than location and staff and $$$$. Pleasant checking in and out with all staff but special thanks to Even he is absolute pleasure to deal with. Always have a very happy attitude. 🌞Highly recommend it to anyone.

6/27/2023: The rooms are spacious with a great deck area. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. The ceiling fan on high speed with the air conditioning unit running cooled the room nicely.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel.
Friendly & helpful staff & a clean, tidy room to start. We had a nice breakfast and both pools were clean and ready for people to swim. 24hr reception.

These are the people that you need to meet when you are staying at a Hotel. Parking is locked, but from check-in to check-out, you couldn't wish to meet nicer friendly people.
Everything you need is a phone call, or a trip to the lobby and they will accommodate you. The rooms are large and very clean. Honestly you couldn't want better!

Not sure about the accomodation but the restaurant next door, Finn Finn, is legendary

Amazing rooms! Bigger than most of the 4 star hotels I have been to. Cheery staff members and wishing us a Merry Christmas every time we check in. Highly recommended for families

6 night stay; very enjoyable. Decent sized room, well appointed; excellent bathroom. Very friendly staff ... reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant (excellent food too ... I especially recommend the spring rolls for starters!). If I'm ever back in Cairns, I'll stay here again. Recommend highly :o)

12 days in a really great apartment, clean and tidy, spacious, friendly staff, close to shops, bus and within walking distance to central Cairns.
Staff were very helpful and aim to please, special mention to Rita...
A negative was it was a bit noisy down the hall from other guests on a couple of occasions.
A bowl and a few more utensils in the kitchenette would’ve been useful.
Beds made for us daily, clean towels and a top up of coffee, tea, sugar and milk was great.
Would highly recommend this affordable accommodation..

Great place for the cost, close to hospital and short walk to main Esplanade. Didn't try on site restaurant but menu looks appetising and good value. On site laundry is very reasonable price but only one washer and dryer available.

Little hidden secret. Spacious rooms, handy to town. Clean and we'll set out. Management (Rita) was absolutely obliging and we were totally looked after our whole stay. Will definitely be our go to place whenever we stay in Cairns.

Clean, friendly, parking, good location. Older style but very well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful, good facilities - pools, laundry, restaurant, plenty of off street parking. I would definitely recommend as a clean, quiet and central place to stay in Cairns.

Stayed here last night, as a cleaner myself I was overly impressed with how clean and professionally made up the room was. The staff were friendly and bubble especially the gentleman at the front desk. Food from the restaurant was delicious. We had a great sleep. Thank you. Will be back.
