Peking duck craving satisfied. A restaurant recommended by a friend for Yum Cha, although we wanted to try the Peking Duck 2 course dinner. The Peking duck pancakes were delicious, and we chose the noodle as our second course. Will be coming back to try their clay pot dishes.

Very nice Chinese Restaurant with clear broad water view through windows. Delicious food and well presentation. Bright, clean & tidy air-conditioning environment and friendly staff with smiles sometimes. Central location at Southport with free roadside parking without parking limit time on weekend (2 hours 9-5, M-F). It is a popular dinning place for both locals and Chinese family, especially in Chinese New Year. Excellent online booking system experience with one day ahead booking available for my last Christmas dinner booking when other restaurants were either fully booked or close. Price is fair and valuable. Highly recommend it if you haven't been there.

Jasmine Room is a must visit restaurant whenever we travel to Gold Coast. The food there is exceptional, the staff are very helpful. If you do not familiar with Chinese food they can always provide nice advice because they know what they are doing very well. 100% happy experience so far and I am looking forward to revisit again very soon.

Entered the restaurant and it was quiet. Very nice atmosphere, nice table decor, doesn’t feel like your typical Chinese restaurant with plastic table cloths.

I would say the food is slightly overpriced, we spent $104 for a banquet for two and had some leftovers but would be nice to see larger portions or a cheaper price.

Food was very very very fresh, hot, full of flavour and honestly the best Chinese we have had.

Best Chinese place on the Gold Coast. Amazing manager (older man, white shirt with glasses), he deserves a raise and honestly don't know if we will have the same experience without him.

Food is amazing. Absolutely stunning presentation and delicious dishes no matter the time of day.

This place is extremely busy on weekends, especially around lunch. Make sure to check your bill as well since they can sometimes slip up when its busy.

I have been here so many times for yum cha and I think this is the best yum cha place in the Gold Coast! Food has always been delicious. It is located in Southport near Meriton hotel with 2 hours free parking at the car pack.

I was a little appointed that they don’t have turnip pastry this year since Covid, which is my favourite one from their restaurant. Nonetheless, we enjoyed dinning here. Their Chines tea is good too, we ordered jasmine tea this time. Customer ervice is really good, food always comes quickly. Price is reasonable and actually on the cheaper end comparing with other yum cha places.

We only spent 51 dollars for 6 dishes and tea. We ordered jasmine tea, egg tarts, fish congee, steamed dumplings, steamed beef rice roll, minced pork wrapped in fried mochi ball, and steamed bean curd roll with minced pork. The highlight this time was the fried mochi ball (the menu called it “fried gelatinous ball”), the outside coating was crispy and the mochi was sweet and soft which went really wall with the stirred fried minced pork in the centre!!

Overall this is an amazing yum cha place with good ambience, great location, yummy food and affordable price! We will keep coming back for more!

The best yum cha in Brisbane or in this case Gold Coast. We’ve been to pretty much all of the yum cha places in Brisbane and this one, is just the best. It really is. You have to make your way to Gold Coast for yum cha at the Jasmine room. It’s worth the drive. ❤🏆

One of the better yumcha joints in Australia. Miles better than the well known ones in Sydney (think Zilvers etc.).

Looks like a really new establishment, nice interior decor, clean and comfortable layout.

Staff were polite and really helpful. We went there just after opening at 11 am on a weekday, so it may vary on a weekend for example. It was not easy to get the attention of the servers when things got busy (maybe lacked staff?).

Food was amazing. Huge dimsum sizes and most importantly they were well seasoned. Tasted really authentic and definitely paid homage to the Cantonese roots of the dishes there. We recommend items 1 to 10 on the menu. These are the most popular dimsums in a yumcha place. The cheong fun (rice rolls) were fresh and full of fillings. We had the char siu ones.

Only minor letdown were the egg tarts. This is an important dish in any yumcha restaurant and a good measure of the quality of the place. The tarts were not consistent in size, lacked the egg filling and had too much pastry to filling ratio.

Overall, we would definitely return if we're in the area. Highly recommended for a good yumcha experiences if you're in the Gold Coast!

Wow, wow, wow. Where do I start. The staff were awesome. For a busy restaurant they were so friendly and helpful. The service was great. The food came out quickly and was AMAZING, so much flavour and generous serving sizes. They have a Yum Cha, A La Carte, takeaway, and banquet menu. I highly recommend The Jasmine Room if you enjoy Chinese food. By far the best I have eaten.

Best Salt n Pepper King Prawns Iv had here. A bit pricey but its worth it i always get the crispy pork, chicken fried rice, fried beans when dining here

Jasmine Room has to be my favourite Chinese (specifically yum cha) restaurant on the Gold Coast. The service is outstanding and the food is the same. The ambience of the restaurant is also delightful.

Up there with the best yum cha in my opinion, food is fresh and delicious, staff were all friendly helpfull and accommodating and the 5% discount for cash is another great incentive, every little bit counts.
Definitely on our regular list.

We celebrated son's birthday here. Sitting by the window where you can overlook the night view. We had seven dishes and all were delicious with reasonable price. They were served quickly and in good size. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. My son surprisingly got a complementary deep-fried ice cream with a sparkler on it in the end. This definitely lit up the dining experience.
