Light Pass Primary School

Light Pass Primary is a beautiful little school with a friendly, inclusive atmosphere! This school has so much on offer - multiple yard play areas, choir, chess lessons, a veggie garden, languages, and lots of hands on learning. The teachers are lovely, very approachable, and work to support the individual learning needs and goals of the students. We are so happy with our decision to send our child to this school!

We love the individual focus by each teacher on the goals and needs of our girls who have required additional support. The staff have worked wonderfully with external therapists visiting the school. It is just on the edge of Nuriootpa in little Light Pass village. We have felt that it has a lovely small connected community amongst a natural environment and small classes plus rooms which are not open plan. Friendship and caring for all years R-7 is encouraged. Students are involved in learning languages, cross country, the annual small schools sports day, choir, gardening and more.

Breing from a Rural background we found this school to have the awesome country school feel with each child being taught at their pace, and this school understands some kids don't fit a 'mainstream learning curricular. In this they manage each student as a wanted and needed individual. With a very caring atmosphere my grandson is loving school as much as he loved kindy. We know he is in the right place and already only a few weeks in we can see that the right choice was made. Highly recommend this school!!!

Incredible family atmosphere with a very friendly home like feel. Every student is taught at an individual level not as a whole. Love this little school. Any child that is lucky enough to attend will forever benefit from the education given by the wonderful teachers.
