Salter's Kitchen

One of the most cohesive feed me lunches we have had in a long time. The chef knows how to put together a feast of the senses. The sweet potato was next level. Each dish complimented the other. We will be back.

Great energetic vibe. Restaurant manager James is extremely welcoming and professional. His wine knowledge helped us choose a bottle we were very impressed with. It is our first time here. We will definitely be back. Put this one on your list to visit in the Barossa!

dropped in for lunch on the last Saturday of October 2023 celebrating wonderful weather and travel companions with a glass of delicious Riesling and some ‘healthier’ green food. Love the grilled broccoli salad. i could eat 2 bowls of that with the riesling and maybe the chardonnay(?). lol. next time. Finally, thank you to our hospitable host/wait staff. She was patient and happy to adjust my wine order to suit the meal.

One of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a while!
The restaurant and staff were beautiful and inviting.
We enjoyed the a la carte menu on a sunny day. We will definitely be back to try the set menu as well.

Had and absolutely beautiful meal at Salters Kitchen on Thursday. The shared feast and accompanied wines were delicious. James our host was wonderful and could not have help us enough. Will definitely return for another meal next time we are in South Australia.

Had a wonderful lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Feed Me menu was generous and delicious, very reasonable price for the offering. Staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable. Really enjoyable!

Had our Fathers Day lunch at Salter's ! Best decision ever ! Was a beautiful menu with matching food and wine. I would most definatly recommend making the effort to go out there and try it out. 🙂 🥩🍷

We were very happy with the experience from the time we got in. We were greeted by Sarah and showed us to our table. Then she happily accommodated our request to sit outside (it was a perfect summer day). She served us with a smile and was very attentive. Wife was vegetarian and the chef changed the sharing menu for the two us to accomodate the dietary requirements. Good selection of wines (of course) friendly service and amazing food. If you are visiting, go for the sharing menu and you won’t be disappointed. BTW the Pepper Jack ale was bloody good too. 👌🏾👌🏾

My partner loves Pepperjack so he would give this place an 11/10. Food is pretty good and we have been back twice. As the designated driver it's not bad but could use more staff BUT.. COVID.

I cannot speak more highly of this place. From start to finish their communication and service was perfect.

The food is simple but fresh and delicious. Everything is well-priced, served at a reasonable pace and the setting has a lovely ambience if seated by the widow.

They wen't above and beyond to ensure my partner's birthday was extra special, although we walked away way too full!

Both woodfired pizzas we tried were perfect - thin base, fresh ingredients, not overly chessey. Saltram No. 1 remains one of the best Shiraz wines coming out of the Barossa Valley IMHO. The restaurant is quite noisy so avoid if you're looking for a quiet lunch/dinner.

Food was fantastic. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Restaurant set out with plenty of space to move.

Barossa & Light Cab Service rate Salters at Saltrums 5 out of 5 stars, because the wood fire pizzas here are absolutely beautiful and Barossa & Light Cab Service recommend these to any of our customers who are looking for a nice food and wine experience in the area of Angaston in the Barossa Valley. And, when this pizza is paired with Saltram No. 1 Shiraz, it results in a really good food and wine match. Be sure to drop in here the next time you are in the Barossa.

The food and service was incredible, but especially impressive was how affordable it was even at a uni student budget! Have already been recommending Salter's to my friends and family :)
