Mr Burrows Hairdresser Sydney

I had the comfiest hair wash and massage I've ever had. I also had a big snip from Rob, which is taking me a while to adjust to (I've never had hair this short) but it's exactly what I asked for. Perfect service -- oh, and they offer silent appointments too! I didn't know that but it suits my personality. It really made it a relaxing service!

Edit: 4 hours after getting the big chop and rinsing out the hair product. I'm really loving how effortless it is to style! It didn't take too long to grow on me 🙂

Also, to anyone else is thinking of getting a big chop: consider donating your hair!

I cannot even explain how much I loved the service here! Everything from the vegan cheese and beer (shout out to Lena), to the salon, the environment- everything is absolutely faultless. The best hairdressing experience I’ve ever had. Shino was fantastic and I could not be happier with my haircut. I genuinely can’t wait for my next appointment. Thank you Mr. burrows! The atmosphere and services are always a high standard at this salon externally and internally. I have previously been with both Nikki and Rob on different dates (as I’m very open to my booking and put trust into anyone who takes me on as a client) whether it was for a cut or colour as I get shocking regrowth and very dry ends always leaving them to be creative with the styling. Everyone here is very accomodating to your needs as a client both food, beverage and hair-wise. The end of service I always leave feeling more confident (feeling myself and my hair) and booked in for my next appointment. I immensely recommend the stylists who work here as they cater to a broad range of people and will do your hair the justice it deserves.

The best hair salon I have ever been too. You walk into the salon and get greeted by lovely staff, they provide you with drinks, tea, water and a lovely cheese board. The salon set up is so beautiful, and my hair stylist Suzie is so talented at her work. She always does such a great job and makes my hair look AMAZING. If your looking for a good salon this is the place to go. The stylists here are so talented and great at what they do. And it’s in a good area as well. Definitely give this place a go, worth every penny!!

This is the second time I have a pixie / short haircut with Shino and she always delivers! Shino understands Asian hair and was communicative and has such good skills. Loving my short hair in the summertime 🥰

Amazing trainer, technically minded staff with a warm and friendly disposition, and beautiful interior design. Wine and cheese board makes an early afternoon appointment the best time.

One of the best hair salon experiences I’ve ever had. Luke was warm, welcoming, listened to all my ideas, then helped me make great decisions with my colouring.
I was absolutely rapt with the end result and get complimented all the time. The price was exceptionally good value.

Enjoyed my cheese board and beverages. Always felt that I was a valued client with lively conversation and genuine laughs with Luke and the other staff. A 100% positive experience and outcome.

Its a 90 minute drive from my home but I won’t be going anywhere else than Mr Burrows Hair Newton in the future. Thanks Luke xx

I only just recently had my hair cut (pixie) short from shoulder length hair. I was not happy with the cut from the first hair salon and was looking for another stylist. I came across the raving review for Luke of Mr Burrows Newtown and made an appointment. After all, it could not be worse then my original cut. And what a change it was. I am so happy with Luke's cut. Above all, he listened to what I wanted and delivered. He uses techniques that instantly tell you that he is interested in what he does. Hairstyling is not just a "job" for him - it is a profession.
And a special mention goes to Lena, the receptionist. She has such a lovely welcoming nature, you instantly feel cared for.
Needless to say, I have already booked my follow up appointment.

First time at Mr Burrows Newtown and it was a really warm atmosphere and the customer service A1 but most importantly I walked out so happy with my cut & colour by Suzy (which is rare for me to be 100% happy). The colour she suggested for my hair turned out perfect and weeks later I just keep loving it more. Have definitely found my new place!

Absolutely love it here! Everyone is so friendly and obviously live their jobs! Miracles have been made with my hair by Nikki and Suzy. Both such friendly people and amazingly gifted. I have no fear about how my hair is going to looks when I walk out of the salon, my choices are getting bolder each time!
