Did a great job, looked over the fireplace and made sure it was in good working order and gave us a few tips on how to keep the fireplace working correctly

I had never owned a house with a fireplace prior, Ross took my call and asked all the right questions even though I had no idea. He attended same day and perfectly on time. Explained the whole process during the service (Plus some great conversation) and even told me some great ways to maintain my fireplace between seasons.

Excellent service very friendly and reliable. Had him sweep my chimney today he was extremely thorough with the clean and service for an excellent price. I contacted Sydney flu and chimney with no response still waiting for a call back, while this gentleman was straight on it. Explained to me exactly how everything worked how to maintain it during the year. Could not of asked for better service. Even explained how to kill my bindis etc

We had an issue with our flue not extracting all the smoke so we were putting up with smokey rooms for some time. Ross turned up yesterday and sorted it out within an hour! He replaced the flue cowl, swept it and now all good, no smoke in the house!

Good service, offered some great advice as well. Good price point.

Wants cash. Doesn’t issue an invoice nor receipt.
Charges $170 to clean a chimney in the mtns. $150 plus $20 travel fee.
On booking, he gave the impression he would clean the chimney and also address a few issues we were concerned about, which of course we expected to pay for.
On the day it was a different story. He was not interested in doing any more than the chimney clean, which he cleaned from the bottom, leaving a bit of a mess. Refused to get on or in the roof (standard roof, nothing fancy, single story, simple cottage). Inspected external chimney from ground level, at a distance.
Resulting in additional issues being left unattended and our feeling let down.
There’s “a LOT of talk” and the only action - what work he wants to do. Certainly NOT what he was booked for!

Have to call someone else to do the job properly, he did not go on roof and therefore it is still blocked. Spent 20mins on the job and charged $180. Not happy

If you know what's good for you do not use this guy to clean your flue he won't get on the roof which is essential when you're cleaning a flue still clogged I have to wait for someone else to come and clean it now I wish I had read the reviews prior to getting him out just shocking total rip off unqualified
